About The Artist!
Hey, I've decided to do a post for those who follow my Paper Pawtraits to know more about me personally as well as my Artist skills.
I have always been in to art ūüé® since I was a child and loved just grabbing a pencil and doodling away. I would draw and make crafts every chance I could. When I was in my early 20s I wrote a book based on seahorses and started to illustrate the book but I wasn't happy with my illustrations. I wanted to be better educated in us...ing different mediums and tools so I put it to one side and started studying a creative arts degree. Since then I have experimented and found my love for using paper to construct a 3D aspect to my Art which has helped me create my own personal voice. Two years ago I decided to leave my full-time job to pursue my ambition and one of my life goals of becoming an artist. since then, with the support around me I have grown and have now two small businesses: Paper Pet Pawtraits for my love of animals and creating people's pets and Paper Gemz Designs where I get to use my imagination to create characters and create various stationery and home decor items to suit a wide audience. I am very grateful to have this opportunity to follow my dream and it's very rewarding with the great feedback I have had. I still have my seahorse book and maybe I will go back and do it one day..... or maybe that was a sign to push me in the right direction? Who can say! ūüėĀ
Me on a personal level: I live with my very supporting fianc√©, his sister and my two Rabbits ūüźáūüźá who often distract me with there cuteness! hehe. I love to spend time with family and friends, read, travel, go to the cinema and play computer gamesūüéģ.
I'm also a BIG Disney fan and love watching various series such as Outlander, Vikings, Victoria, Westworld and Once upon a time.
Well, that's enough about me, but I hope you have got to know me a bit better and Thank you for taking the time to read this essay of a post!ūüė≤

Gem was genuinely excited to create her Pawtrait for my daughter’s birthday and she captured her beauty and personality perfectly!

The look on her face when she opened the wrapping paper was priceless and I knew she would love it forever ÔŅĹÔŅĹÔŅĹ
