We loved this place. Chicken burger a bit dry but if you go for what they specialise in ..piri piri chicken...can't go wrong.

i just love pepes but prices are getting higher and higher day by day.. pepes should not increase their prices.

Best pepes in Birmingham by far. Food is always always good. Shop is clean.

Portion sizes to eat in are amazing however the taste as compared to the one in alum rock road is not as good �, I do believe take away for small portion of rice & chicken is a bit much, would prefer to go to a restaurant for the prices you pay for a full meal overall pleasant

There was a time when the only chicken that my whole family enjoy was pepe's peri peri.

But now they are worse. First of all I made a compliant via email about my experience at ladypool road branch and they didn't even bother and care to contact me back or try to fix this.

Now I am going to tell you what exactly happened during our last visit to ladypool road branch, not last but before last (thought give them another chance, may be they have improved ).

We order whole peri peri chicken( there was other things that were okay) when it arrived to was over cooked and I can see it was burnt. I tell the staff about it and he said that's how our chicken is it's not burned.

I told him this is not first time I am eating here. But he didn't listen and said I am sure it's not overcooked just try it .

It didn't taste good at all and how could it be , does ever burned food taste good, it was worse chicken I ate.... smaller in size, dry, and not tender at all.

So I went to small Heath branch the chicken was perfectly done BUT the size again was small very small I should say it was baby chicken and not as juicy saucy and tender as it used to be.

They have worsened their taste.....

From five star Pepe's has gone down to one star because that's the most I can give other wise it don't deserve a star if we talk about their prices and the food we get.

The staff did not listen carefully when I was placing the order and was very unprofessional as there was a lot off panicking staff behind counter .

When my order was ready there was only half of stuff given to me and when asked we're is my other items the member of staff said he made mistake and did not charge me and can make it but will take another 15-20 mins which was to late for me .



When I asked for a bag to put food in they said they got none left so had carry my food carefully and struggled to carry it .

I will not recommend any one to this outlet
