We had our Edward's 5th Birthday party here this morning. The service was 5*, the food and presentation exceptional! Everyone had an incredible time! Well worth the money! For £9.95 per child, 20 children, we got soft play just for our party, unlimited tea & coffee for adults, Birthday child gets a T-shirt, all children get balloons and crayons, when fruit pudding came out, decorate your own cupcakes came out. Worth every penny! Staff were amazing! Thank you so much everyone! Xxx

We had a Valentine's Afternoon Tea yesterday which was excellent value for money. A few tables had been decorated with a Valentine theme, which was a nice touch. Staff were very attentive and the tea was delicious. Can thoroughly recommend this offer which runs until Sunday, February 18th.

Took my daughter to see Karl the Bushman yesterday we had an amazing time it was very well organised and all of the staff were very friendly and helpful, the event did not feel rushed at all and everyone had a great time having plenty of opportunity to meet and have photos with the animals, staff even took photos of families, nothing was too much trouble, Karl had great knowledge of the animals and was very entertaining, hope to see more events like this in the future xxx

My son & I went for Breakfast with Santa, the experience was fantastic! The table was all set out for us with a colouring page, crayons, gingerbread man to decorate... real value for money - Santa came round and said hello and then we went and sat with Santa and chose a present. A magical experience, the staff were all great and really pleasant - we thoroughly enjoyed our morning, thank you

Love this garden centre enjoyed a lovely breakfast. My partner got some fish and was chatting to them. I looked in the pet bit and had a lovely chat with the lady. Just love having the different shops inside. Looking forward to visiting again for Christmas and garden bits.

User

Had the most wonderful Tea with Santa experience today! 3 adults, a 3 year old, a 1 year old and my 2 month old baby. Children’s food was great quality, and adults afternoon tea was lovely. Soft play was also included. Wonderful high quality selection of toys that the children get to choose from. Santa’s helper even let my 2 month old son visit Santa and have a gift which I though was so kind. My son was really scared and said he didn’t want to see Santa before we got there but Santa and his helper were so kind and lovely within minutes my son was happy and chatting and eager to see Santa in his grotto. Thank you very much for a magical afternoon x

User

After the snow we had last weekend Wyevale were still able to accommodate us for breakfast with Santa. A great breakfast with friends and the little ones...... wyevale did not disappoint

User

Absolutely the best garden centre we've ever visited. Huge range of plants and products, with extensive facilities including a restaurant and coffee shop. Highly recommended.

User

Well I don't know where Anita ate but my wife and I have just had a Turkey and stuffing doorstep sandwich and as usual very taste food !

User

We went yesterday to park our car for the Rod Stewart concert. We spent a pleasant hour there befor going down to the concert. They kindly gave everyone a voucher for a cup of tea or coffee, which we had with a delicious cake. We also bought a couple of hanging baskets very reasonably priced.

User

Very clean and neat place. Lots of plants and they looked very healthy. Like Bon Marche and the other shops in there.

User

Had a coffee & a browse , went to the cafe by the front entrance two ladies behind the counter friendly prompt service was shocked to find the 'Yankee Candle' outlet has gone

User

love this garden centre very disappointed with light lunch had to return think foof could be improved but lovely staff and we will return xx

User

Woman at the pet store very helpful and lovely, couldn't fault her customer service. Helped me choose the right animal food and was so chatty and friendly. The lady at the cafe however... so so rude. I was waiting at the till for a good few minutes whilst she cleaned up the kitchen area, looking up at me at least twice, but never acknowledging me. Finally she came over looking annoyed, and took my order. Panini wasn't even cooked through properly so fiver not well spent. As well, some older customers joined the queue after I paid and I watched as this staff member smiled and joked along with them, being ever so pleasant and warm. Not sure if she has a problem with customers in their 20s or something, but she needs to be retrained in how to deliver good customer service as she was very clearly lacking in this.

User

Traveled from Staffordshire to see this how we not much on Percy thrower a little gutted but still a ace day out.

User

Took my 8 year old granddaughter to "plant a pot ". The lady who helped was very friendly and helpful and it was very good value at £2 for pot, stickers to decorate and 3 small plants. This deserves 4 or 5 stars.

What brought the average rating down was the restaurant. We were going to have lunch but the choice was very poor and the staff not very friendly.

User

Okay nice day out

User

Nice place, very modern and clean, good choice of plans. It was the restaurant that let it down, my daughter's cake was stale and for the price the coffees they were very small. I had a cream tea, but more generosity on the size of the scones would be an improvement. Hence the 3 stars. But the choice of outlets was great. I got some very nice shoes.

User

Lovely store and excellent plants , the store is very clean and staff are helpful but the biggest let down of this store is it Restaurants both have poor customer service and waiting for a toastie for 15 mins is stupid when the place was so quite we had drunk our coffees before it got to us and the cake was stale . All I can say Percy's is that you got a great store but your food said is a big let down

User

Had tea for two with my mum very impressed very nice would recommend x

User

Had a lovely day out and the staff were very friendly but restaurant let it down the women at the till in the restaurant was a bit blunt and the food was not very warm

User

Called in to have a look around and grab a coffee. Last visit we had a coffee at the place by the entrance, never again till the staff is changed. They either stand talking to people (not waiting customers) or they need a rocket somewhere to help them make a drink properly. Have stood waiting to be served and have 2 drinks made for 10 mins and they weren't busy!

We are quite regular customers cos we use the aquatic centre there and Bon Marche.

User

We ordered drinks and a sandwhich for myself, we drank our drinks and watched others after us get meals and my husband called a staff member over. She checked and said our order hadn't gone through to the kitchen, what do you want? I said I had ordered a tuna sandwhich and she turned away muttering sorry. Mistakes happen but I have never been treated with such dismissive rudeness. This place is desperate for customer service training. I demanded my money back and we left the store having intended to spend quite a lot on gardening equipment. Had a lovely lunch and spent £70 in Dobbies up the road. There is never an excuse for rudeness and poor service.

User

Very poor breakfast. Scrambled eggs looked like they were mixed with old ones that had been sitting around and £1 for half a tomato which looked like it had seen better days too not very impressed

User

This place is awful. The shop part is a shambles the way it is set out and very very expensive. We went for something to eat and drink in the restaurant. Had to queue for about 15 minutes before the order was taken. Were given drinks and told to get milk from another place but the milk containers were empty so had to wait until someone would refill them. Drinks barely warm by the time got to the table. Then we waited for 2 sandwiches to be made. After 35 minutes I went to ask so sandwiches took over 40 minutes in all to arrive. The crisps served with it were stale and the coleslaw horrible. Sandwich ok. Drinks by this time were stone cold but we helped ourselves to some free water!

Then went to look at the plants outside. Again, highly expensive. We came across a section where the plants were being eaten by caterpillars. There must have been at least 20 on one plant alone. We told someone who was working nearby who just said he'd never seen that many on a plant before and went back to what he was doing. Needless to say we didn't buy anything and our first visit to this garden centre will be our last while it is still owned by Wyvale. We understand it is for sale and the new owners will have much to do to put this place right.

User

Terrible place..went for lunch today to be refused service as they stopped serving food..Despite the fact we asked the time the food was shopping and were told 4..it was 3 when we tried to order... very rude woman on stand in management who ironically had to leave her lunch to come and listen to our complaint..I nearly laughed as she walked off laughing and sat back down to finish off her lunch..absolutely disgusting..2 children and 4 adults turned away... no excuses or apologies..will never return and will spared the word of what a terrible place this really is.we went for lunch elsewhere and SAVED A FORTUNE..It had taken us 20 minutes to find a clean table in the first place... water under the doors coming into the indoor tables..health hazard in itself..we have never felt so unwelcome in a place we would have spent a lot of our money.I am thankful we learnt of the rudeness and ignorance before we did..

User

So had breakfast this morning. The worst bacon bap for ages. The bap looked nice a tasty with two nice pieces of bacon. However a cold bacon bap is not nice. Luke warm when it arrived and quickly got cold. Mentioned it to the chef, what a waste. Was told by him it could not have been cold. Well mate it was, and if he serves out more rubbish like that I will not be there again. He needs to brush up on his customer relationship. Very disappointed.

User

Over priced and leaking nearly eveywhere. Went to the cafe asked for a turkey and stuffing doorstop sandwich, was told they brown bread. No problem white it is then. 5 mins late a man came out and said they dont have any white bread ok i will have brown bread. 10 minuites later out came a white sliced loaf sandwich (which was quite nice but not £4.30 worth of nice)
