This Friday Night Live at Percy's Cafe Bar we are proud to be welcoming Shropshire's finest! Ska/Alternative Rock quartet Fight the Bear. With 3 albums released. They've played Live at T in the Park Festival in Scotland which was filmed for and shown on the BBC and being featured as BBC RADIO 1'S Tip of the Week. It's about time that they graced the stage for unbelievably what will be their debut appearance at the world famous Percy's Cafe Bar. Porcelain Hill
Coming all the way from Pomona, California in the USA and originally from Ontario. Porcelain Hill are an Old school feel 3 piece rock band with a new twist. Formed in 2012 when Darnell “Big D” Cole, Nathalie "Wildfire" Campos met after college, the two formed the band and performed as a two piece. Two years later, the Duo went to an open jam and decided it was time to add bass. Shortly after, they met Jacob Lucero. The youngest of the trio, he earned the moniker "The Kidd", but his skill proved to be well beyond his years, and after a single practice, Porcelain Hill was Solidified.
Their influences are vast and wide including the likes of Led Zeppelin, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Andy Grammar, Buddy guy, Ben E. King, The Beatles, Rolling stones, Zac Brown, Queen, Rush, The Outfield, Fun., Black Sabbath, Elton John, Johnny Cash, Jimi Hendrix, Heart, Christina Perri, Eminem, Michael Buble, Bruno Mars, Cee Lo Green, Maroon 5, Simon & Garfunkel, The Temptations, Etta James, Adele, Jessie J, Pink, Usher, My Chemical Romance, pretty much all music haha.

Red Spektor
Red Spektor is a power trio playing Stoner Blues Rock with a Psychedelic edge from Stoke-on-Trent.
Performing live since early 2013, the band plays powerful music that continually strives to get back to grass roots.
The band draws inspiration from the dark pre-war blues right through to the British blues explosion of the sixties and the heaviness of the seventies – albeit with a modern and dirty twist.

Went to see DragSter and the Poly-esters on saturday - and had an awesome night. Percy's is a unique venue and we shall definitely be going there to see more bands. Everything about it is wonderful :)

Visited for the first time last night to see a live band. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly and very helpful with my queries before the event. An unusual, quirky bar, very different to anywhere else I’ve ever been! Excellent venue for live bands! Can’t wait to visit again!

UNF came down from Aberdeen to play this fantastic venue. Of the 40+ shows we have done, never have we been treated with such brilliant hospitality. The best venue, briliiant character and everyone was so lovely. I cannot tell you how brilliant the whole experience was!

Played here with These Five Years. Utterly superb venue, excellent management and sound. A lot of love has gone into this place and it shows. Long may it continue :)

Percy's is just simply awesome, every single member of staff is so friendly & amiable and in Katherine & Dawz they are the best landlords I've ever come across. The locals are also amazingly friendly and it is an absolute pleasure to make the journey from Birmingham to see everyone there and on top of that they have some quality bands on all the time. 1000 ★'s wouldn't be enough for this unique venue.......love it, love it, love it :) :) :)

My band Porcelain Hill is based in Ontario California. On our first UK Tour and this venue was not only the first to book us, but also the most hospitable. A quirky scene, cozy interior, and a BADASS stage is only the tip of the iceberg. The heartwarming, welcoming environment paired with PHENOMENAL customer service and wonderful regulars, is truly what solidifies PERCYs as one of the BEST venues worldwide. Owners Kate and Daws are doing something right not only for the music community, but also for the Business world.

Lucky enough to have this as my local. Great place, eclectic, ever changing with great bands and good beer and great staff and regulars

I’m not a person who is not really into the bar scene, but at Percy’s it feels more like visiting family than a bar! The atmosphere is quirky and eclectic in the best way and the owners/staff are so warm and welcoming! I’ll never visit England again without stopping by Percy’s�

I have the pleasure of this being my local coffee spot, pub and recommended music venue. The staff are friendly and always accommodating, the service is quick and a good night is inevitable. The quality of acts across countless genres is unmatched and that's just the business. The atmosphere is great and the clientele is just as quality as the place itself, a real credit to themselves and the area.

First time in Percy's and I haven't even left yet but amazing staff, amazing food, awesome hospitality and in general, an absolutely fantastic venue - would give 6 stars if it was an option!
