THE BEST FISH N CHIPS AROUND!!!!! I have tried many places for fish n chips but never had anything so delicious as Petes fish. The batter is so light crispy and edible. Fish is of top quality and chips, well these are certainly what you call chips and NOT bits!!!!!!!



The £1.99 deal for cod n chips is amazing.

One may be considered to be somewhat of a food connoisseur by his peers, and for that matter the following critique of Pete's should be considered gospel.

Moved to Vancouver Canada but still miss my Petes chippy! First thing I do when I land every time is head down for my kebab batch and mild chilli sauce!

I have been going to Pete's ever since it opened. Every Friday we go there for fish and chips. We always have a friendly service from the staff and the food is always excellent. I have to travel past 2 chip shops to get to Pete's but I would never go anywhere else. Nothing beats it.

Have to say i was impressed with Pete's choppy in craft road tonight the overall aperance. Was really smart and clean. (No signs of grease ) the staff were smart in the white polo shirts and yellow. Aprons and friendly. The chips were yummy. Will defiantly. Go in again think other chips need to watch out

Always come to Pete's, the staff are always smiling and making time for the customers. You can tell there are customers in their that have been going there for years. The customers and management always go that extra mile. Waiting times are short and food is always fresh. Recommend highly to anyone!! I'll never go anywhere but Petes

After a trying 6 hours in a&e with my son last night we popped in, thank you so much for treating us......sorry i had to walk out before saying thank you properly but i would have been in tears.....thank you so much xxx

We love Petes food, & its the only chip shop we use. However recently its gone down hill, for the portion size you get its very over priced!, since the layout has changed were constantly queuing for a long time & even after being served were waiting ages for our food. Staff are good but cant keep up with the demand & can sometimes come across as rude.

Good food but letting your standards slip else where is not keeping up with good service. Have been trying other chip shops recently due to all of the above reasons. Definitely need to look at waiting times & portion sizes or price drop!!

Since it's changed shop layout it's gone from a five star chippy to a two star chippy. Ordered 3 kebabs they told me it would be 10 minute's 20 minutes later I was still waiting. I was then offered a drink and told it would be a couple more minutes even though I had paid for the kebabs I walked out. It's not about the money it's about honesty and service. Feel sorry for the lad and girl serving who do a great job under the circumstances.

Regularly buy from here but chips tonight were very disappointing, very dry no taste (Bedworth branch) threw half of them away �

Really disappointed tonight. Ordered 2 mini fish and a battered sausage got home opened it up to find a dirty greasy batters sausage with next to no batter on it and manky under cooked chips we use Peres regular and this is by far the worst meal we have had.

25 minutes wait for a fish & chips, sausage & chips and a kebab!! A few minutes wait for the people in front of me to be served and my order was taken but then everybody else behind me then had their order taken. The orders were then prepared and given out in no particular order, 3 people who were served after me walked out with their food before me and one of them was a big order.

I wouldn't have minded if I had a difficult order but I could see the food in the warmer in front of me! Don't know why they can't take your order and get your food like all the other chippy's I've ever been in, this method just does not work! The girls serving did a great job but have obviously been told to work like this.

The food was nice and the fish was a good size but the chip portion was stingy! Won't be going back in a hurry.

Won't be back that's for sure. Seriously gone downhill in quality and quantity. Shame such a well established business hasnt kept its standards high.

Well pissed off with petes chippy. I get the mini fish and chips for the oldies on a Wednesday afternoon but because I want 10 or more the price goes up from 1.99 to 2.50. Absolutely disgusted. Not going there any more. Chick king rocks

Tonight must of been the worst experience from the chippy and to get home order wrong to have to go back get it sorted and then can’t eat my meal because it stone cold when get back not good money wasted

Not very good! Chips were barely cooked and annemic in colour and just tasted of grease, the donner kebab was equally as bad, the meat was fluffy and tasteless, not what I was hoping for, consequently it ended up in the bin!

Just has a kebab! Nearly £7!!!! I ate it in less than a minute! Twice this has happened in as many months. As a big regular visitor, it kills me to say I’m going to have to find myself a new chippy for my Saturday night dinner !!!

If the service was as good as the food then it would be great. Twice i have walked out of the shop in Bedworth as the staff are so rude. Unforgiveable in my opinion as a customer. Sorry must try harder. I won't be back.
