This week's beers folks Ryan has been busy cleaning pipes, tapping and venting. We also have a new beer in this week for you to experience! Covert is a fabulous 3.9% citrus session ale from Stealth Brewery in Wiltshire We are open from 5pm Thursday- ready for the weekend!!!!

Starting off the week with these fabulous ales! We are open from 5pm Thursday till 10.30pm. Same on Friday Noon to 10.30pm on Saturday Noon to 6pm Sunday Enjoy!

We have a great line up this week folks, starting Thursday we are featuring the Fixed Wheel Brewery's beers all weekend. Based in Blackheath
Scott, head brewer and co-founder of Fixed Wheel, loves all things cycling having raced in the UK scene for many years, pretty sure he likes good beer too!! His unrelenting focus on brewing the best beer possible has put Fixed Wheel beer on the map as a brewery you can trust and enjoy
so make sure you dont miss out, we will be ready and open from 5pm on Thursday

This week's line up by special request of birthday boy Mark Warren. Please note we will be closed for a short time Saturday afternoon 4-7 for private birthday celebrations which lead straight into our Vinyl Night For MACMILLAN and Breast Cancer care at 7pm Everyone is welcome.! Please try and pop up and support us on this one. It means a lot to us - Craig is also planning to run the London Marathon for this cause in 2019.

Huge thanks to the boys at Green Duck Brewery for spending time with us last night. Really interesting discussion and tastings. A great insight to how they brew their beers. Some photos below. Today Albrighton will be busy with Party in the Yard. All for a great cause so enjoy and plse support - but try not to forget us on the station!!!!. Our beers this week.....🍻🍺 Some favourites and also Rowtons new beer Orbit. Next week we will be running a Green Duck Brewery showcase all weekend. We are open from 5pm today.

What Wolverhampton is lacking, a micro pub or any pub that keeps and sells ales as good as this. Bung in butcher pork pie, scotch eggs & cobs; rustic charm, great knowledgeable staff keen on hygiene and cleanliness. In other words the basics nailed. Return tickets booked!

We've had two amazing parties at the platform this year. Would highly recommend it for a venue. Ryan, Chloe and Beth are great.... Nothing too much trouble for any of them. Alison's a star. Ideal party place!! Great beers too.... Oh and of course the gins. Thanks guys!!

We have just used Platform Alehouse as a half way stop on our dog walk! We had a lovely glass of Sauvignon blanc while Buddy the dog had a complimentary dog biscuit and a drink of water. Can't recommend this pub highly enough, very dog and people friendly, a really good atmosphere in an excellent location.

Top place for people who want to enjoy a relaxed atmosphere, real ale, wine and traditional old fashioned but tasty pub snacks.

Oh and there's a real fire which provides that warm glow!�



Service is friendly and always cheerful.

My husband's new favourite pub. Lovely staff...great bar snacks. ..excellent beer.

Love this pub, it's perfect to give Buddy a rest on his walk and gives me the chance for a quick glass of wine before we head home ����

Jo and I called in here yesterday, what a fantastic pub and atmosphere, we met some lovely people, we will definitely be back

I walked in, or should I say, dragged in by two very excited dogs who love pubs! Fortunately the barmaid came to my rescue with dog biscuits and they calmed down. The beer was great as usual and so were the cobs and pork pie. Very handy pub right next to our caravan storage

Having attended the friends and family night on the 27th I can honestly give it a 5* rating,it's a lovely micro-pub on a working station so very handy if you've just missed your train! (Accidentally obviously)

Don't expect pool tables,darts,juke box's etc...

It is what it is,a little real ale micro-pub with a nice choice of beers and ciders and pub snacks,pork pies,scotch eggs,scratchings etc...best of luck for the opening night July 29th!

Had the nicest warmest welcome ever, such a lovely couple and lovely staff too, they couldn't do enough, we were very impressed and we will be definitely be returning soon, thanks again x

Had a bostin bacon bap and coffee in front of a roaring log fire. Eat in,Takeaway or Preorder. Platform Ale House Cafe is open 6.15am -10am. Monday-Friday. Lovely place to sit,relax and chat also dogs welcome.

Good selection of well kept ales and some excellent nosh (the Scotch eggs and pork pies are excellent!) - the PAH has become a regular pit-stop for Thursday evening cycle rides with friends. Highly recommended!

First time visit . Really nice place friendly staff nice ale on too. Will definitely be back

Decided after wks of saying we need to try this pub. My birthday being 28th it was planned. And so delighted we did. What a quirky place singer on the night was great. Bar staff were so friendly, prices very reasonable , couldn't do enough to please. (The landlady even Brought my lad a stool to sit on after seeing him standing. How anyone could give a 3 rating is really being picky. People try it for yourselves you won't be disappointed.

Brilliant Ale house, great weekly selection of Ales, all bar staff are very knowledgable on the current ales on offer we will be back time and time again .. plus our dog loves it

We noticed it as going past on train .so payday a visit on way back to wolves. Very handy & good beers on . Not quite Codsall station bar but very interesting.

Great little pub, good selection of local beers, sensibly priced rolls, friendly staff, dig friendly what more could you ask for?

One observation, the pub looks shut from the station platform, the opening date sign is outdated (because it is now up and running). Swap it for a NOW OPEN sign which would be great.
