We came here for a family meal for my daughters birthday and can honestly say we could not have picked a better place to eat, the food was excellent as was the service, the waiters were friendly and could not do enough to make our night a special evening, i can certainly recommend for anyone to go and enjoy the food and service at Ponti di Legno.

This place is a gem great service fab food and as it's BYO it feels very good value always a buzzing atmosphere too it's one of my fave Bham restaurants then over the road to Pat Kav's for a nightcap what's not to ❤️

User

The food is incredible !! It has an open kitchen so you can see all your meals being made fresh. The service was incredibly fast and all the waiters are polite and very respectful. Also you can take your own alcohol which saves on the bill overall. Loved going there and would go again in a heartbeat !!

One of my favourite restaurants in Birmingham!!! Food is delicious especially the Sirloin Steak or the Lamb Shank! Staff are lovely & can't do enough for you & the atmosphere is always great!

Just remember my chilli's 🌶 and all forgiven😂 Great food, value for 💰 always friendly staff & professional service, family's welcome. Atmosphere fabulous, bring own booze so one to go without kids and taxi home 😂

User

I can't think of a bad thing to say about this place the service epic the food epic and Hassan makes it an even better experiance

User

Had bread with olive oil and balsamic vinegar to share to start - winner. Then two sirloin steaks (both medium-rare) - Bang on the money. Plus, bring your own booze. Been here a few times, and definitely will again. Friendly staff too - 5 stars!

Had a lovely lunch here today. The staff were friendly and attentive, and were wonderful with my children. The food was delicious and very well priced. Will definitely make a return visit!

User

Great that you can take Your Own booze, service isn't fast, but that didn't matter as we were there for a leisurely lunch, food sublime, well worth the wait and nice not to feel rushed. portions generous. This tends to be the place now that we come to for birthday celebrations and will definitely be back.

Four of us visited last night. The restaurant was extremely busy (as you would expect on a Saturday just before Christmas) but the service was slick, the waiters polite and efficient and the food was very good. We will definitely be back.

User

Booked here for my son's 18th Birthday meal because we just love the food and service here. We were not let down. The food was amazing and the service brilliant as usual! Thank you for letting me come in early to decorate the table! See you again soon. Xx

Went with a party of 4 . All order different things of the menu. Two ordered pasta fish dishes which were cooked well. The other 2 people ordered steak and meat dishes which were enjoyed. The place was full for the 7 o'clock sitting and extremely noisy. Despite this the service and food were good. We took our own alcohol drinks as it is not licensed to sell alcohol. On the whole we have an enjoyable evening.

Food was lovely, very tasty, but service was slow even though quiet. Luckily we were not in a rush. Portion sizes for the price where small, my 12 year old had monkfish and was still hungry after meal, which with extra cost for fries came to £20. Other meals were good portion sizes though.

Would go back again, as taste is great, but need to look at service.

User

It's always busy , very noisy , service could be more attentive!

I ordered lobster ravioli , CSI would have a tough time finding any in the ravioli , I said they were just rigotta

I was so disappointed with the service and attitude of the people working there. I have ms and cannot walk properly and going there made me feel I should be embarrassed of being disabled. They stared at me as I struggled up the 2 steps. I then struggled so much walking to my seat which was in the furthest part of the restaurant. The waiter didn't even take us to the seat and just pointed to it. It was so emotionally and physically tiring I actually cried when I got to my seat. I hardly go out and this was a special occasion and someone recommended the food would sort me. It actually has put me off going out again. If they had shown some care or support I would have liked it as food was nice. But I would want better service than food. The worst place to go out to for me and I hope they improve their attitude to disabled people.

If you hate yourself and ur into being treated like your nothing I suggest you go to ponte Di legno the food is a little on the pricier side hence us not going so often but when we did use to go we would always come out satisfied but the other day when we went marks probably the worst service Iv probably ever had in my life. It was so dissapointing because we were looking forward to going. The waiter we had was rude and straight up disrespectful. One of the other waitresses kept walking around shouting and making excessive amounts of noise. The rest of the customers who were all middle aged white people were treated way better by the same waiter and whenever they asked for something they would immediately be tended to with no snarky comments like they did with us. God I'm so angry because when the food was served it was mediocre and on the greasier side and the service got worse while they were giving us our food and we coudnt even walk out so we just ate the food as fast as we could to get out of there. Never going here again.
