We had a cracking night last night. Had a booth for the 5 of us. The staff, from Doormen, the lovely young lady who tended our every need (forgot her name... drink eh?) And the bar staff were fantastic. We laughed hard and danced like loonies! Thanks Popworld! ���

Just went for my birthday and had a great night, excellent music and didn't encounter many of the problems peoples reviews mentioned. Downstairs was way too packed so we were upstairs for most of the night, was enough room to dance and the bar service was pretty fast until peak time then it did take a little while which is understandable.



Overall a very enjoyable night out and will deffo return in the future :)

I was there this weekend for my hen party I was one of the last to leave on Friday and Saturday night. Roy your bouncer is fantastic and so are your bar staff especially having to deal with our Swansea accents. We can't wait to come back for a visit we are already making plans. Thank you for an amazing weekend!!!

I love Popworld so much. I hadn't been in ages but met Holly on the front desk and she was so helpful! I went in and then later wanted to put my heels in the cloak room and I couldn't have a better service. She complimented my heels and my sparkly lips and made me feel like I'd made the right choice coming to Popworld as I hate Broadroad. I purposely asked her name for his review! I've been a customer service manger and I wouldn't hesitate to employ Holly she she's so sweet xx

Fantastic place, we were a large hen party of variable ages and needed seating for some of our party. They found us a perfect seat right next to the bar - helped make our night perfect. Many thanks to you all!

Came here on a hen do on bank holiday Sunday. There was a little mix up. However spoke to the managers and my goodness me they could not do enough for us. We were treated like celebrities. It wasn't even their mix up. They really put themselves out for us and made the night really special. I am unsure of the ladies name but she was fantastic. She was working along side Matt and went above and beyond for our group. It was really appreciated and I wish I could name you personally. Thank you so much my sister has had amazing hen do x

Always have an amazing night with my beautiful girlies. We go to Popworld atleast 4 times a year (its difficult when you've got kids lol). Never had any issues...the staff are fab, bouncers are always polite and the whole experience is great. Yes it does get ram-packed in there but isn't that telling you something! it is a very popular place...we tend to go alittle early to get served quicker!! Well done to all that make it special for us hard working mums!! Hee hee. Xx

Love the music and the booths are a great idea - nice cocktails! We had a great time and would definitely recommend getting a booth if you go with a group. Unfortunately the last 3 times I've been a fight has broken out and last night was awful - it involved numerous men fighing and it was ages before security were able to intervene which put everyone around them in danger - luckily we were in the booth away from it but I'm sure people in the club could relate. Obviously it is the individuals at fault but maybe more security are needed on the dance floor throughout the night so they can spot potential conflicts sooner. I don't envy the job though!

Brilliant place the only thing which lets its down is when people are knocking drinks on the floor , no staff are cleaning the floor , it's just a accident waiting to happen , otherwise the music and the atmosphere is great!!!

Went there on a Thursday night for a bit and was good. Prefer a Saturday night tho more there and cocktails and beer tastes better than some other clubs on broadstreet. Bar can be busy but there's another upstairs so no problem same with toilets.

It was a good night, my first time at popworld. It would’ve got 4 stars but the toilets were disgusting and smelt bad and there were two extremely violent fights which seemed an age to break up. Overall I did have a good night and the music was great. Knock 30p off your Budweiser aswell 👍🏼

Had my 40th here last year and it was great. But so disappointed on a hen doo last saturday. 3 bottles of prosecco between 19 people that paid? On a night when it was free to get in? Thankfully a good time was had by all despite the lack of organisation. Some people turned up late paid the same fee and had no prosecxo or cocktails?

Had so much promise from earlier reviews, how disappointing in reality. Not enough staff on the bars, for the amount of people in the venue, so overcrowded and overpriced, never again!

Clean with pleasant decor. Music slightly better than Reflex as not a totally Eighties themed club....Security were pleasant, switched on to situations and one woman was smiling and dancing while enjoying her work.

NEGATIVES

Dance floor way too small.I had a real feeling of displacement as the set up was angular and disjointed. I wondered if the same person designed the new Honda Civic it had that many lines.

Now to the bar staff.... No customer relation whatsoever. Ok, it's busy but a smile costs nothing and that's if you are lucky enough to get served. The middle floor had 3 paypoints that I could see but the two staff(inadequately staffed) seemed to prefer staying down one end. After 5 acceptable minutes wait I thought I'd time it. 14 more mins passed before someone finally acknowledged I was there.

I worked a bar for 16 yrs and my tip is to mentally give everyone a number as they arrive and do your best to remember a modicum of the order in which they arrived.With practice it can be achieved,but that only works if you actually look up instead of staring at the floor.

I was with a large party of workmates which made the night bearable but I would not go out of my way to go again.

Used to love it here, until last night I had my phone robbed out of my bag and your staff didn't really care even when we knew who stole it! Checked one pocket and let them go and said they had no cameras bullshit! Will not be returning!

Really disappointing, they made us pay 18 pounds between 3 of us only for a horrible bouncer to say one of us was too drunk to be in there. Bare in mind there were stag do’s dressed in fancy dress falling over whilst we were drinking water. Would NEVER recommend a pop-world to anyone. Simply awful.

Overcharged on rounds of drinks last night, asked for different drinks just to be told don't have it. You advertise drink offers and surprise surprise be told again "nope don't have it." Also manager miserable as hell, don't think I seen a smile from her all night

I went here yesterday and ask the doorman how many people are on the clicker didn't wanna go into a fully dead our club especially if I have to pay then he said to me it's none of your business we had a little debate over it and they called the police on me I mean what the actual hell lol then whoever it was outside i think was the manager kept giving me attitude I liked it before now it's a dump
