fab food here good compared to other italians but we've never had a bad meal - all good from me

Went to Portobello's Tamworth for my daughter-in-law's 30th birthday, we actually had the restaurant to ourselves and the service, staff and food was absolutely outstanding, fabulous. There was 45 of us and all was served virtually the same time, no-one was waiting for food or drink whilst others had eaten theirs. First class

Went for date night with my wife - food was amazing - staff really friendly & the chef so talented - did my steak exactly how I like it. It tasted amazing - can’t wait to go back again 😃😃😃

Visited yesterday for my birthday treat.... can honestly say it was fantastic! Service was excellent - nothing was too much trouble for the staff and they went out of their way to make conversation and make us feel at ease. Food was wonderful - excellent presentation and good, well cooked Italian food. All round excellent experience - would def recommend !

The first time I visited the restaurant it was with friends on their recommendation. I was so impressed I went again AND ordered steak. I have never had steak in the UK that comes close to the quality I have had in North America until I had it here, in an Italian restaurant. The food is amazing and it may be twice as expensive as a pub but worth every penny

Rated this as "I loved it" as the food was superb and we did really enjoy our evening dining there. They desperately needed one more member of staff to serve tables though, we could see the hard working staff struggling to keep up. Will go again.

Love this restaurant, we come here every week and tonight we bought our whole team for our end of quarter event. 10 hairdresser, lots of wine and amazing food. These guys are awesome, accommodating, friendly and nothing is too much trouble. By far, the best restaurant in Tamworth xx

First time there, one minor complaint the food was to hot, silly thing to complain about I know, but on the upside I can’t remember the last time I came out off a restaurant feeling so full, staff were fantastic, taste of the food was to die for, fantastic night out and I would thoroughly recommend

Excellent, food fabulous, service excellent, staff very curtious, couldn't fault it would recommend any time.

Excellent service and fantastic food-even my fussy five year old grandson cleared his plate! Would highly recommend. Only downside is optional service charge which is added to all bills which is a bit steep but this was optional.

Don't remember when was the last time when I had perfect tasting food ÔøΩand service was very welcoming. Do recommend for everyone to come and try this amazing restaurant <3

Came here last night for the wife's birthday. Can't fault it: food was superb and the staff, despite it being rammed, were friendly, polite and nothing was too much trouble. Service was really prompt too which was a pleasant surprise seeing as it was so busy. Will definitely be going again.

Birthday treat and was amazing scallops fillet stroganoff and cheesecake perfect and a special treat from the staff thanku highly recommend .x

Food was really good as always,not to happy about the optional service charge which I was only told about when I asked for the bill,did not notice any small print stating this.However,the charge was 15 quid which I thought was a bit much.Service was good and friendly but not worth 15 quid.so I tipped them which I thought was a more suitable amount.Could not fault the good at all,and the home made tiramisu was spot on.The drinks were a bit pricey,£6.50 for a glass of red.
