Good Escort RS Turbos are now worth a lot of money. ... This was not a good one. It was a total heap.

"I replaced the twin points in my 1933 Talbot's Delco Remy distributor with your C29 pickup.
The installation was very easy and the car now runs much more smoothly. I guess due to the ignition timing being correct on all cylinders and not reliant on accurately synchronizing the two sets of points. Also the ignition coil runs much cooler as the dwell angle is better managed.

Last year I installed a power spark ignition system in my '67 Jaguar 420. Since then it runs smoother than ever and starting is much easier. What a good idea to use your parts!

Just fitted a (Bosch Distributor 009 and 034 Powerspark Electronic Ignition Kit) to My VW Beetle, 1970's model with a 1600cc engine and dual 36weber carburators.



It had trouble starting with the standard points in the cold (-15°c degrees) but also when it gets warm, even with the points setup exactly right.



With the kit mounted, that took 5 minutes MAX to install, the car started on the first try! With a warm engine, the car runs like it never has!

Installed JFU6 ignition kit in my -72 BMW 2500. And after setting the timing the car runs so smooth. I think it runs better now then when it was new in -72 😊
