We went this saturday lunch time. Food was very nice. Steak was done lovey and very hot. A little bit of a wait for food but no complaints as it was extremely busy. Kids just enjoyed a play outside while we waited. Good value for money and friendly service.

Love coming here to have a good meal! There was quite a wait due to it being busy but the food was worth the wait. Only downside is the fact the staff didn't smile half the time whilst serving would be nice to see happiness.

Went last night but it was the same as last week bar staff just dissapear leaving several people waiting for service .fish was well overcooked not very good going downhill fast

Nice enough but when you order a Codfather and it says it comes with large chips I worry about what their small chips look like. Kids enjoyed their food and pudding. Bit overpriced tbh considering how much you get. Been coming here for over 20 years nd can honestly say it's going downhill food wise. Staff however are friendly enough.

A little hit and miss here. I've been when its busy and when its very quiet. Food has been good sometimes and others not so. Last time I went on my birthday. It was very quiet. My medium rare steak was well done and the Macaroni cheese it came with was rank. I left it. Not a combination I would recommend at all? The waiter never came to ask how my meal was either. Not been back.

I’ve never been to a restaurant where the staff were as miserable as that lot. Besides the food being appalling.For instance we ordered mac and cheese but we couldn’t get it out of the bowl it was that dry and hard and the chicken burger was very dry with about 7 fries on the side.DISCUSTING���

booked birthday meal for a group of us and when arrived to be told there would be hour wait.

just before food arrived they informed us that they had ran out of eggs to go with the gammons and mixed grills ordered.Thw meal arrived and it all was horrendous the sausages were cremated and when asked to be taken back the waiters attitude was aporling. Gannon was as good as raw and suppose to come on a hot skillet ( no sizzling here ) chips on 4 orders cold steak it you threw it would bounce back , no onion rings with mixed grills had to ask then we still had to wait for the last meal to come out.we asked to see a manager who was going to come across but waited and waited so in the end walked out we had already left our meals once to speak to him and by this time were very very angry and not to cause a scene in front of my family thought this was the best option

all in all the worst meal ever I have looked at your reviews and surely this should be telling you something.Your management needs to be sorted out or learn how to take control and sort the massive catering problem out that you have .

We were told we couldn't eat outside despite the beautiful weather as 'they stop servering outside at 5pm' so had to eat inside during 25 degree heat. Poor food, terrible customer service and ridiculous waiting tims.

We came to priorslee lodge this evening due to the 20% student discount that they have on! We spent over £60 and when I presented them with my student ID they said that it's only for Wolverhampton students! Nowhere in their advertisements does it say this which is highly disappointing! They didn't have the decency to even honour this and had nothing to say that it was only offered to Wolverhampton student! Very disappointed!

Was there on Sunday seemed nice to start with when ordering food then food came and what I ordered was not on my plate in fact I meant to have a sizzling hot plate and came on a normal plate, when I asked I was told the machine was broken that did the hot plates and meant of been told when I ordered my food but I wasn’t also bed of onions was missing and steak was barely warm and all they offered was a free drink

Won’t be going back there anytime soon....

Waited over an hour for our meal, many others in the same boat, service has been going down over the last month

Very disappointed again .... steak like an old boot ... mentioned it to waitress who said oh it's our suppliers fault ! Not the kind of response expected after waiting 50 minutes for it !

Slowwww service!!! Food was average pretty tasteless a lot of sauces had to be added to my food for flavour � half the things we wanted to order weren’t on the menu!!! Only good thing about the place is the lady in there she was friendly and delivered the food to the table lovely apologised for there not being food left on the menu bless her!!

Shocking service, waited over an hour for our food. I ordered a medium/well done sirloin steak with no onions as I’m allergic only for it to arrive smothered in them. My husband sent it back and it was returned 20 minutes later. I stuck my fork in it and blood spattered all over my chips, it was still mooing!!! Sent it back again and had a wait if another hour.....in this time my family ate their charcoal burgers that had been cooked with a flame thrower while I sat there with no food. Got so sick of waiting that my husband went and asked for our money back. The lady(Lisa) refunded our meals and we then discovered that my meal had been sat on the side for over 20 minutes along with 6 other meals. When asked why it hadn’t been served the waitresses excuse was that nobody told her to bring it. �Poor excuses, poor service and such a shame coz it’s a lovely place. We will never go there again. People were queuing up to complain, there was also a crowd waiting to be served drinks but the bar person was too busy chatting on her phone.....disgusting!!!

Poor , kids food looked like it had been left under heat lamp for ages , our steaks were poor quality and poorly cooked , onion rings were soggy batter , burnt ends were just soggy meat in a Sauce ,

Only good bit was the wings starter , but it’s hard to make bad wings when your just cook and put sauce over them.



Typical of a chain eatery though , mass produce food and menus .

It needs to be bought and made into an independent pub.



Side note pubs should not be allowed to offer steak on the menus unless they have someone who can actually cook a steak

Ordered a starter which took about 25 mins to come out, After we finished that the rest of the food took around another 30 mins. A few customers at the bar complaining when we went. Ordered 2 8 oz Smothered steak's, 1 Well done and 1 medium, Both were under cooked, And the party member who ordered the well done had to get a refund for there ruined meal which came out like Rare as she could not stomach it after seeing all the blood on the undercooked one. Both plates were Also missing items of food, The Mushrooms and the onions were both missing. and And like other reviews, They were also on Normal plates and not the sizzling plates as advertised. We went to Wetherspoons originally, Sat at a table and then decided to come to the Priorslodge due to the fact the steaks are better and on sizzling plates but wish we had stayed at Wetherspoons now. Shame such a decent pub has gone down hill so much

Disgusted! After visiting Sunday with family for dinner. I was wrongly put down as a WALK OUT even tho we paid by voucher, after lots of crap communication between the staff and manager I thought it was sorted, to find out on Monday you had took £35.04 out of my bank account for the food that had ALREADY BEEN PAID FOR by voucher, and AGAIN today another £35.04 has been taken from my bank. I will be taking this further and will NOT be visiting again!

Came with my friend at a quiet period of the day and it took 45 mins for our main to arrive then we ordered a pudding each and again it took well over 45 mins...people came and had their dinner served then went all while we were still waiting for our dessert not impressed at all! Wont be coming back as therwe was no reason for slow service when the pub is half empty

Been regular customers for a few years now and in the last six months this place has slowly gone downhill. Steaks are more fat than meat, portions getting smaller, waiting time longer and longer... given it a fair few chances now but won’t be returning for food again. Shame really.
