We went on sunday for a spa day. Greeting was friendly and helpful. Lovely facilities but not as big as I thought it was. Outdoor hot tubb was not working which was disappointing but we were offered each a free day pass to return when it would be open. We ordered food which was lovely however the waiter seemed nervous and unsure. We asked for some ketchup and he said he couldnt find any. So we made do without. I think the food service needs improving but on the whole it was a nice relaxing experience and we will be returning. Our massge was great as well

We have just wrapped our 1st Afternoon Tea and Pampering for our charity Hope and Compassion. We would like to say a huge thank you to Angela, Louise and all the other staff who made this a memorable event for our ladies affected by cancer.

All funds raised will go to Compton Hospice and the whole experience for the ladies was beyond their expectations and made them feel amazing.

We look forward to hosting future events with this venue and building a solid relationship in coming months and years.

We had our wedding here in June and we couldn’t be happier with the service we received. Ella and the Events Team were unbelievable and helped with every step of the way. They took the headache out of wedding planning and our every need and those of our guests were taken care of on the day with the highest levels of professionalism and nothing was too much trouble. We had an absolute blast and we are so thankful to everyone for everything; our day ran without glitch and that’s thanks to the fantastic team at the Ramada.

User

This was the second time we booked the venue, the first being for an engagement ceremony, everything was wonderful so we went back the second time, this time for my daughter's wedding. Best decision we made with regards to the venue. Great venue, very helpful staff.

User

The reception staff are amazing, approachable to talk to and make my stay the best I've had. Thank you so much i recommend this hotel to family and friends.

User

Great 1 night stay . Staff can’t do enough for you . A little gutted pool wasn’t open but apparently the roof fell in so probably best that they closed it lol . Great breakfast loads of parking spaces and not to far away from the city centre . Will definitely use this hotel again when we visit Wolverhampton.

User

Got married here last Sunday. All staff were helpful. My son decided to play hide and seek

Didn't know where he was all staff radioed through and done everything they could for us, they set it all up wonderfully, they done a amazing job, receptionist was a such a lovely lady. Everyone done above and beyond the porter working on the Saturday deserves a medal we worked so hard and long hours, the only problem I did have was the function on the Saturday night playing the music so loud till after 1am I know they paid a lot of money and it's a function hotel but there wasn't much thought for anyone else especially in a residential area, shame we wasn't told I got free spa treatment which I didn't know until the day and it was fully booked, wasn't aware the rooms I booked we had a complimentary stay for the second night, but we had a wonderful time thank you for all your help x

User

Fantastic hotel so clean and just perfect surroundings really felt relaxed only let down staff a little slow at serving drinks at the bar the breakfast was one of the best wasn’t so keen on spa being outdoors has it was cold weather but the bar was warm rooms spotless

User

Booked punch and lunch. I'd give the conference team, Tracey 2/10. OMG.. That's hard I hear you say... Here is why.. I booked for 6, gave the booking details via email , ALL is good, at this point 10/10. Yeahhhh

Due to circumstances outside of my control, sent email to Tracey on 3rd December 2017, advising of change, I asked for acknowledge of change,.

So, day of meal Tuesday 5th December, sisters surprise meal.

First course..... Confirm with the waitress, whose name I can't remember, but was amazing 10/10... Hmmmmm, only thing done was Tracey, changed name of guest, ... You didn't let them know of change of menu

On day of meal,..waitress had the original meal bThe waitress, in her wisdom... Came back just to confirm... The meal. TRACEY... again... The kitchen didn't know. Thankfully they could accommodate us

The hotel rooms were very clean and the grounds of the hotel were beautiful. The staff were very helpful. Restaurants booked up so we ate in the bar. Nice food but very small in there, busy and not a comfortable place to eat. Lovely breakfast with dietary options accommodated for.

User

Attended a wedding at the hotel and the venue was good and the service was prompt and efficient would recommend it to anyone it is beautifully located

User

Attended a wedding and the food and service were amazing considering the high number catered for. The gardens were lovely but my only gripe was that they could not supply me with any decaf coffee or tea or even boiling water when I explained I had my own sachets of decaf coffee. There was also no diet lemonade so disappointed at that. With such a large hotel I really expected more choice in diet drinks or decaf options. Otherwise a good experience. I think the hot weather also helped.

User

Went with my daughter & friend to celebrate my daughters 6mths cancer free. We were disappointed the jacuzzi wasnt working, neither was the hydro in the pool. While in the steam room a lady was adding olbas oil 2 the steam, which made my daughter feel quite poorly. But on a plus side all the staff were lovely.

User

Went to the Motown night last night and had a fab time! Cannot fault the event, music was really good and got to catch up with people. However, I feel the portion sizes of the food were a little too small and there wasn’t enough choice in terms of what we could eat, which wasn’t the best considering the money we paid. However, got a good deal on the room; two people for 1 night and including breakfast for £79! Brilliant! The room was lovely and the bed was comfy, the waterfall shower was even better absolutely loved it. However, there was a con when it came to the room, first being that the room was very stuffy and there was little to no AC which made it very hot and uncomfortable during the night. Breakfast was lovely but a little unorganised, wasn’t told if we had to wait so ended up just taking a seat as we had been waiting a while, took a while to fill things up and weren’t given any glasses for juices until we eventually had to ask. The breakfast was very tasty though.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay and think it wasn’t bad for the price, but there could definitely be some improvements.

User

The room was clean but hotter than hell, as was the entire second floor. There was a party in the function room on the ground floor and the sounds of music and people talking/shouting kept us awake, certainly not ideal as we had a baby with us and the heat in the room was already making it difficult to doze off. We were overlooking the gardens/courtyard and the music was heard until around 01:00 and some rather merry partygoers could be heard until about 02:30. Due to the high temperature in the room (our visit was in May and the heating was off but there is no AC), we had no choice but to keep the windows and curtains open and there aren't any privacy net curtains.

The pool was out of action which was a major factor in making the booking. I should mention that I was told a partial refund *might* be organised, but I got the vibe this could be a palava. I therefore requested free room service (light bites and drinks) for both the nights we were staying. We got two sandwiches and two drinks on the first night, but a manager declined the freebies on the second night.

The temperature of the room and second floor (no lift to get to it by the way) and no mention of the pool not being open just spoiled our short trip away, so we won't be back. There is potential to make the place really comfortable if the temperature can be sorted and parties didn't go on so late. Plus points are the staff seem friendly, the breakfast was tasty and there was quite a nice ambience in the eating area.

User

The "spa" was rather small, 3 people in the pool swiming is only how much u could fit in to do lengths. I think they could maybe clean a little more (definatly in the area where the sun loungers are) no drinks avalible except a coffee machine and water, deffinalty need a variety drinks. Also the chill out room u could here people running on the tredmil up the wall so it was not peaceful and quite in there at all

User

Reviewing beer only. Not a massive range on offer but this was a hotel. Only thing that annoyed me was that they advertised several ales on draft that were not in the building! The beer that I did try was of an alright standard.

User

Totally disgusted by the way in which security treat a greiving widow. A young lady standing by the door not blocking any exit or entrance into the building waiting for her taxi not causing and problems or disturbance clearly upset due to her partner recently being deceased. Ramanda security management of this was to tell her to move away from the door and when the other young lady attempts to explain the situation they respond by threatening to throw her out stating they dont care about personal circumstance.

I am absolutely disgusted by this response and will never return to this conveluted estsblishment again. I sincerely hope that nobody else is ever treated this badly again!

Vile human beings!

User

Just left the hotel after an overnight stay. I can safely say I will never be going back...EVER.

Initial view: it was a pleasant place, room was lovely. Spa a bit small but a good addition to our stay. Walls a little thin maybe. I heard someone in the room upstairs fart in the bath as if I was in the room with them.

Unfortunately, the hotel had decided to rent their ballroom out to a bunch of Neanderthals. My partner and I settled down to sleep after our night out, looking forward to our breakfast in bed in the morning. However, around midnight, one of said primitive ape people was trying to get in a room adjacent to ours by continuously knock at the door for a good 10 mins. After this stopped, we managed to fall into a pleasant sleep, which was rudely interrupted by the fire alarm going off twice at around 2am; it turns out someone had kicked the fire doors off their hinges. My partner managed to drop back off around 3am but I lay awake until 6am, disturbed by the sounds of people arguing and slamming doors for the whole of this time. Now I am renowned for being able to sleep through films with explosions. Not through this bunch of ****s though.

Breakfast was good, delivered on time, fresh and hot, with lots of tea.

On check out, when my partner handed back the key card, there was no customary ‘how was your stay?’, which was understandable. However, there was also no apology for the disturbances either.

When we got back to our car, we and the occupants of a nearby van had been left the present of a glass bottle under the passenger side wheel. They had also been disturbed by arguing and slamming of doors, even though they were in a different part of the hotel to us. And said there was a fight in the corridor outside their room.

This would be a nice mid week hotel, when there aren’t any drunken louts about.

Reviewing beer only. Not a massive range on offer but this was a hotel. Only thing that annoyed me was that they advertised several ales on draft that were not in the building! The beer that I did try was of an alright standard.
