Our 'Next Wave' exhibition has now closed. Thank you to everyone who took part and helped with the project, including: exhibition sponsors Galliard Homes & Apsley House Capital, the curators, the artists, all the volunteers, and our visitors. We hope you enjoyed the exhibition and look forward to staging the next one in 2020!

Thank you to everyone who came to our 'Next Wave' closing party this evening. The show has been sponsored by Galliard Homes and Apsley House Capital, and the artworks were selected by Annette Pugh ARBSA, Caroline Ali RBSA, and Rob Hamp NWA. This project would not have been possible without the generosity of the sponsors, enthusiasm of the curators, and artwork by the artists. We hope everyone who has taken part has enjoyed the experience and look forward to welcoming the last surge of visitors before the show closes at 5pm tomorrow.

If you have a work by a significant Birmingham artist, or are connected to the membership of the RBSA in any way, donating art or leaving us a legacy is a wonderful way to support the work of the Society... Two paintings by Jessie Mary Hoyland, believed to be one of the first female Associates of the RBSA, have recently been donated to the Society by the artist’s granddaughter. An excellent way to while away a lazy Sunday afternoon. The work by contemporary artists is interesting and my wife loved the ceramics (unfortunately!) but she always has great taste so I put a retainer deposit only £10 has secured it. Wonderful!
