Recruiting – Stratford Hospital – Nicol Unit
Band 2 – Activity Co-ordinator/ Clinical Support Worker
Hours - 20hrs per week, 4 hours a day Monday to Friday.
... The Nicol unit is a 25-bed GP run community ward caring for elderly, patients who require admission prevention, rehabilitation or palliative care.
It is the role of the Activities Coordinator to offer group and individual activities under the direct and indirect supervision of qualified professionals. Your will be predominantly facilitating therapeutic activity sessions for patients to actively stimulate them psychologically and physically. There will also be clinical skills based upon the activities of daily living.
You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be self-confident/ motivated , enthusiastic, compassionate and work well in a team. The work will be challenging but rewarding.
This is exciting time to be joining our Multi-Disciplinary team to deliver excellent community patient services. In return you will learn a range of new skills and knowledge, be part of a friendly, supportive team and receive a salary from £17k – 19K pro rata alongside other related organisational benefits.
