Our engineer has been fitting more Replocks on Transit vans for HCD ltd in Hereford. These replacement drivers door locks provide an excellent level of security in place of the original lock. At Redline Technology we’ve been working with Dinmore leisure to fit Alarms to some of their motorhomes. Surprisingly most motorhomes and many vehicles on the road do not have an alarm fitted as standard. By fitting one of our Thatcham approved alarms you can upgrade your vehicles security from a CAT2 to a CAT1 which will reduce insurance costs. We have been using the Autowatch Canbus alarm systems which operate using the original key fob and the secondary spare key fob we p...rovide with the system . We supply these alarms to Dinmore leisure with wireless sensors for all the locker doors to avoid unauthorised opening and possible entry into the motorhome. Another Smartrak Cat5 tracker and immobiliser fitted today on this nice Audi RS5. These trackers enable the owner to see where their vehicle is at any time using the Smartrak app. The small driver ID tags supplied with this product give extra security, if the car is driven without the presence of a tag the owner is alerted by Smartrak. These neat little dash cameras from Virtus Fleet have just been fitted into a fleet of lorries for Patricks Waste, Leominster. These forward facing cameras come with a 125Gb memory card and are able to record up to 45 hours continuously. They also have the ability to record and store events such as an impact or sudden brake in a separate file. The cameras are tamperproof and can also record audio. We’ve been busy the last couple of weeks fitting Smartrak trackers to a fleet of brand new mini diggers. This is a stolen vehicle tracker which is Thatcham approved so helps with insurance costs. These trackers can be used as a base unit for all plant and agricultural applications, with additional features such remote immobilisation and driver recognition tags available. The user can access live data about the vehicles location and use geofencing to be notified when vehicle is moved without authority. A nice sunny day for our engineer today who has been fitting a Smartrak Caravan stolen vehicle tracker to this cool looking brand new Eriba from Germany. The tracker fitted is Thatcham approved and provides the customer with 24/7 monitoring of its location. A movement alert can be set up to alert the customer if caravan is being moved from a storage site and even lets the user know if caravan battery is low on charge.

We’ve been busy the last few weeks fitting Rep-Locks to Ford Transit vans.
Locally many Ford vans have been broken into by either using a pick or by just twisting the factory fitted lock. The Rep-Locks we fit replace the original lock whilst still enabling the existing central locking and remote key to still work. This provides a secure solution to prevent access through the drivers door and stop thieves opening the rest of the van once inside.
