During my massage treatments I work with many of my clients on releasing the psoas to relieve lower back / shoulder / hip / upper leg & knee tightness. Like any muscle though it needs regular attention, particularly in mobilising, stretching and strengthening. I struggle with this area particularly and have realised I'm not giving it the attention it deserves - I've just followed this video and boy have I neglected this area - so stiff, struggling to get into the pose, never mind holding it, lol. So my challenge for October is to do this stretch at least 5 times a week and feel the improvements. I hope many of you will join me & I look forward to your feedback.
