The reason for my poorly wrist.... in support of the upcoming Ovo Tour of Britain, Myself and Mike have yarn bombed my old bike. We've absolutely loved this project and it will be on display once we re-open in the new shop :) The main covering has been done using Stylecraft Yarns along with a couple of other brands. There's knitted and crocheted sections.♡

For a little project Iv been working on. Need a few days rest from crocheting soon, the pains coming back :(

I have 7 of these bookcases up for sale (wool excluding) £40 each ... to buy new these cost £78 with the extension unit and the extra shelves so you are getting a bargain. Will need collecting/ dismantling. Unfortunately we won't have time to deliver/ dismantle so please bare that in mind.

Finally finished the blanket for my neighbour for their new baby. It's a couple of weeks late but got there in the end :) . Made with King Cole Yarn & Pattern Manufacturer Curiosity dk , a beautifully soft 100% Acrylic yarn... was a dream to work with.

So today i signed the new lease for the larger unit in the Abbeygate, i get the keys tomorrow.. please bare with me over the next few weeks as closing times in my current shop may vary, we have a lot to do including bringing all Mikes stuff over once he closes and moving all my shop too....now then.. when i reopen (beginning of Sept) theres going to be a big change that some of you will love. As many of you know Sweets & Treats closed down recently in the Abbeygate, and they ...are missed by quite alot. So after discussions with the owners of Sweets & Treats, it has been arranged that we will now be adding a sweets & treats range to the new store... all supplied by the very owners of Sweets & Treats... they have been most helpful in offering Mike advice of which sweets they recommend etc... so quite a few changes are to be made to relax & knit, and i hope you like them as much i do... now off to choose some paint for the Bath Bomb room..im thinking baby pink and bubblegum blue!

had my first class today learning how to crochet i’m a total beginner and made me feel totally at ease and took it my own pace. Lovely relaxed environment! x

had a lovely day learning how to make a c2c crochet blanket. It's a pattern I've wanted to do for a while but it looked complicated. It is now progressing nicely.

can honestly say i love working here smells lovely, i get so excited with each delivery we get and i get the pleasure of working with my aunt who is so smiley and helpful towards the customers with questions or in need of a one to one with crochet best experience i have had in a few years xxx

Visited today for a beginners crochet lesson. Thank you for your patience, encouragement and kind words when I was getting it right and putting it right when I wasn’t. 2 hours flew by and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
