here is always someone who makes you feel special every time I come to this place to eat I am still surprised ... Today I have had a phenomenal cocktail I do not know exactly what he put in but it was perfect � .. The food was amazing to ... I kindly recommend ... Thank you for Everything#I_love_this_place ��

We went through the Riverbank for a meal on a friends recommendation to celebrate my daughters birthday. We were greated as we walked through the door and made to feel special. The waiter and waitress were extremely polite and attentive despite the restaurant being busy. The menu had plenty of mouth watering dishes to choose from at reasonable price our meals didn’t disappoint! I travel internationally and eat out a great deal and can say the Riverbank is possibly the best restaurant experience I’ve had this year. We’re looking forward to our next visit!!

We had a fantastic evening! Delicious freshly made food, served swiftly for a group of 14 people; & every meal was hot too. Thank you Liam for organising us all so nicely, and thank you to the lovely barman who made great cocktails. Everyone else was top notch and friendly too x

We came to Riverbank for an early dinner. The atmosphere was lovely and the staff were very attentive from the moment we walked in. The set menu (2 courses for 12.95) was excellent value. My mum had the fig & prosciutto salad starter and a delicious beef stew - she loved it- a traditional dish cooked with special care! The creamy chicken & mushroom pasta was also an authentically cooked dish - yummy & a not shy on portion size!! I had the lamb chops because I enjoyed them so much last time - and the chef takes special care in cooking them to your preference � ....I could go on and on but will just finish by saying the puddings are amazing!!!! We shared a tiramisu which was sooo good and my mum had ice cream - there were loads of interesting flavours to choose from which is a nice change compared to a lot of places - all home made too.



Would recommend the Riverbank to anyone looking to dine out somewhere relaxed that serves quality traditional & Mediterranean inspired dishes (& priced reasonably - bonus!).



This is not my first visit to Riverbank and certainly won’t be my last - there is definitely a feeling of being well looked after in this restaurant. If you’re in Shrewsbury I really recommend you to check it out! ���

This is my favourite restaurant in Shrewsbury. Gorgeous food and such a lovely atmosphere. Celebrated my bday with friends last night and the whole evening was so good. Service and all the staff, especially Bobby are so friendly and make you feel very special. In my humble opinion the best restaurant in Shrewsbury. The food is superb, the service is prompt and friendly. It is a real pleasure to dine at the Riverbank. Arranged a meal for 19 people and could not fault the service and everyone

said that they would certainly be going back. Well done Riverbank team.

I have been to the Riverbank on a number of occasions recently. Each time my experience has gotten better and better. I went on Saturday night for a meal, the staff were attentive and very friendly. All of the food was excellent and they are also very accommodating with fussy food requests. Lovely atmosphere! Will definitely be returning!�

I had a late lunch here on Saturday with friends, the service was super friendly, my whitebait starter was delicious, and the pea/mint/asparagus risotto was perfect! As I am a fussy rose wine drinker they bought 2 bottles to the table so I could have a little taste before buying now thats what I call service! Have been before & will return!

Had the most lovely cocktails and meal at the Riverbank this evening! All members of staff were attentive and chatty! Definitely recommend the creamy garlic mushrooms for starters, and the lamb cutlets for mains!

Had dinner here this evening... absolutely amazing! Really lovely atmosphere, food was delicious and the service was just great, really friendly and so attentive. We were brought complimentary breads while we waited for our freshly prepared mains. SO worth the wait!! Really tasty food! So glad we found this place... we called in earlier today completely by chance to have a drink, then decided to drive over especially this evening to eat. Definitely worth it �. Thank you very much!

Booked a cocktail class for a hen party here which was great! The two bartenders were really good and friendly. Everyone had a good time and enjoyed the cocktails! Followed by a lovely meal where the staff continued to be attentive and cater to any needs. Thank you!

Amazing place in a gorgeous location, excellent service and food, all three of us loved our awesome meals, hope to return next Saturday for dinner, all the way from Chester! Can’t recommend this place enough 💖

Lovely restaurant, location and ambience. Service was fantastic and our 2 kids were made to feel very special. Kids enjoyed their food, we had the meatballs. We were surprised it didn't come with pasta (didn't read the menu very well). I would say the combination of the tomato sauce, meatballs and chorizo could have done with some pasta to even the richness out a little. Fab place though and great playlist!

Hen party of 13 . Food lovely but staff need a course on customer service

* drink rot over one person. Yes she was given a free drink but later when mentioned it had stained the response was you had free drink what more do you want

* waiter taking food orders said ' hurry up I've got a lot to do '

* table not cleared of empty glasses and slow to take plates away

Up to cocktail bar. Much better service & at least empty glasses collected regularly
