CAFE OPEN UPDATE... Due to the bad weather, Hollies Cafe will remain open until 9pm today with full service. After this time we will only be able to offer snacks and hot drinks. Security will remain on site with parking, w/c and showers all open and working as normal. Full service for the cafe will resume tomorrow at 6am and we apologies for any inconvenience this may cause. We wish you all a safe journey... BE SAFE!

To mark the opening of the Certas filling station on site at Roadking (Hollies) truck stop in Cannock, we are having an open day and inviting all to visit. We will be showing a vintage fuel truck and have invited others to bring vintage trucks along. We will be offering all visitors free tea and coffee on the day.

Friday September 15th we will be opening the newly installed fuel station with Certas. To celebrate this we are inviting everyone, especially those who have something old to show off! We would love to get a collection of vintage trucks to show. Certas will be bringing this fantastic vintage tanker. For those that can make it with a vintage truck we will be rewarded with a FREE MEGA Breakfast for them and whoever travels with them (up to 4). Plus FREE tea's and coffee's during the day, and not only that, a Roadking Bonus Card! Let us know if you are coming by posting a picture of your vintage truck on our FB page. Whenever we're in the area & I'm not in the mood to cook a Sunday lunch we always head 4 Road King my other-half always has a cooked dinner but I love the ham salad there's so much on my plate that I'm always the last to finish I'd recommend Road King to all my friends *****

Little girl, aged 6 wanted to go to a 'transport cafe' because she's never been. So we coupled a visit with Mother's Day. Friendly staff, clean and great service. Great, down to earth place for a fab Sunday dinner. A good mix of folk, regular diners and truckers. Super price too, (as you can guarantee all other places hike their prices for Mother's Day). Will definitely come back.

We arrived about midnight and the place was full. The night manager found us a space right outside the cafe. Thankyou.

Used to come here years ago after a night out used to be 24 hour food served was class dont knkw if they still do it

Stayed last night showers were very good . Had gammon egg and chips the food was spot on finished off with a few pints . The staff are great had a good laugh with them definitely be going again

Pulled in at 19:30 and it was nearly full. Love staying here, great food and really great service. It's like a home from home! You can always have a laugh with the staff. Massive thank you to Lisa and Jodie you are � amazing.

Not stayed here for years after a bad experience, but after trying it again was impressed so will be staying again when I’m round Birmingham... Well done to all the staff for making my experience a good one on Friday evening/night 23/2/18...

Not been here for nearly 40years, since I was a kid.

Currently under renovation but plenty of room. Good facilities, good food & a relaxing atmosphere. Hopefully I'll be in the area again soon.

I'd like to thank Sandra and the night staff for looking after me. I got there a bit late on a Friday night and had the team wait on me. I had a few different dietary requirements when it came to ordering at 11pm but Sandra was quick to work things out and adapt to my needs. Best truck stop around and don't be afraid of turning up late because when they say the work 24/7 these DO WORK 24/7. Many thanks. See you soon I hope.

I 1st started going in the hollies at the tender age of 10 with my dad right the way through to me passing my test then my class 1 everybody knows it took a turn for the worst and was very poor indeed but know it been transformed to its former glory its clean and good value for money and the staff are freindly i very seldom pass without calling in for a mega and a kip �

Food was good staff very friendly and polite . showers need revamping ASAP been like that for 20 years. mold in the corners smells very musty water pressure not good been better with a watering can 👍

Food was bang on beer was cold and there was a space for my truck what more do you require

Cracking mega breakfast, with a fried slice to die for, along with excellent customer service, a new extended dining area and reasonable prices. Will be back

Reasonably priced, decent parking and food, staff are great. Showers ok but if I have a gripe then I think a cleaner should be hired to clean the showers after each use. Nothing worse than getting into a dirty shower after a long day on the road. And the toilets could do with a revamp. Other than that all ok

Pulled in at 21.00,unit only so managed to get parked at the front,only one artic space left😳 anyway inside,a warm welcome,cold bottle of beer & a nice hot fresh meal,can highly recommend this place especially the Lemon/Pepper chicken,just one observation.....brown carrots are not great,but i suspect that was just last in the pan maybe🤔 will definitely stop again,friendly staff,long may you continue!!

Nice truck stop. Only down side is they're still in the stone ages with card payments. £5 or over? That's been banned for a couple of months now. Shouldn't be allowed to do it. Would stay again though.

Great staff. All the girls and guys are very friendly and welcoming. Ther is enough space between each truck that you can actually open your drivers door without smacking the truck next to you. One of my favourite truckstops

Good parking now, at least since 20 years ago I mean. Half Concrete half stone. The old building is having a make over on the outside, not before time. Inside the canteen or café is clean tidy and has a bar area to one side so if it gets busy room to expand the café. Food is fresh cooked and good for £7, although I had extras. You get free refill brews too. Breakfast sets you up for the day. Fuel bunkering is on site but I haven't used it. Derv Gasoil and Adblu is advertised. All in all worth the stop up or down the M6 at J12, 2 mins down the A5 towards Tamworth

The food is good, if basic, and plentiful! Decent sized portions. Café is recommended, but I would definitely NOT recommend the accommodation! The place is a building site! Unfinished rooms and corridors, no ceilings, wires hanging down, and the "rooms" are like windowless cells! No private facilities, and toilets at the end of a dirty hall! Would not book here again...ever!

So I pulled up with 5 mins to spare no where to park bar beside the fuel pumps I didn’t want to park there but there’s no signs and it was the only sensible place to park so poisoned truck so all could get out after 2 mins of parking had a young lad cone over saying I’m stupid for parking here blocking the road which I wasn’t then I said if u phone the police to come sign my taco I’ll move as I don’t want a fine I’ve looked everywhere for parking what can I do � he walked off saying he’s getting his vosa friend I said that’ok thanks then the women I. Cafe came opened the door of me truck mouthing off saying the same and that if I park here tonight I’ll be band I’m like ok I don’t need this after a long 15 hour day trying to find parking she said I should of phoned to book I dint know u could then she said go park I. Lay-by she walked of saying I’m band . So I walked over I’ve been there an hour nearly at this stage to book in and the woman said I wasn’t allowed to pay and want allows to use the cafe or facilities after a half hour argueing and another driver out of time parking up they allowed me to book In and use the shower � so be weary about parking here not helpful at all ppl speak and treat dogs better than that first hour of my nine hour break last night �

Rude parking attendant ! Rubish food same price as witherspoons and half the quality ! Thimble full of tea need to buy some proper mugs .

Place is a toilet the parking kid couldn’t run a bath he needs to get out the warm and do his job properly by parking the lorrys properly and not trying to get them moved after the lads have parked and pulled there cards I highly recommend the TRUCKERS REST 500 metres past on the right

Not so bad , only the people that dose the parking area is unbelieveble . Its all about the money ! When you Pay for 2 days that means 48hours then they allready askin you after 36 when you are leavin , because otherwise you have to Pay for one day extra . Its the first And the last rime i parked over here ! Get a Life guys .

If u like rubber reheated food or raw meat you are welcome to visit as I just paid for them well done steak and they broughted to me bearley medium then requested to sort IT they reheated the same meat until it lost all taste and juice paid £9.99 for the steak and left without dinner, very angry and upset, just to mention that not overreacting possibly need to mention that even table knife was unable to cut that meat at first as it was that raw :(
