We had this beaut in for a restring and set up earlier this week. Absolute stunning guitar.

Taylor acoustic in for a restring. Frets polished and fingerboard oiled. Fresh set of strings and sounds awesome.

New pick guard with mother of pearl inlays aged binding and sounding awesome. There isn't many of these 1963 customs around.

A Bit more work done on the 1963 Gibson j-200 new frets new binding (that still needs to be aged) and fingerboard re-fitted. I couldn't resist and put some strings on to try it. Wow what a tone

1963 Gibson j200 custom. In the workshop. It Was turned in to electro. Body had been blocked to make it solid. Thought we would try something different....We wanted to keep the age of the guitar so instead of putting a new top on we decided it best to put in a new sound hole to keep the original top and tone. It's work in progress so a few pictures of progress but still a lot of work to do. It probably would of been easier to do a 're fin and get it mint but this guitar has been loved and used for years so we want to keep the natural age.

Just to let everyone know we will be relocating from our current building. Business as usual customers will be informed as and when they come in the shop. We have read some comments that a false. I much prefer to talk to our customers face to face rather than social media..... WE ARE NOT CLOSING we are relocating.

Fretboard chip repaired. Fret removed new piece of rosewood glued and shaped.

From Monday 9th April our Monday opening times will be from 3pm until 7pm. This has enabled us to open up more lesson slots. Other days remain the same.

We will be closed on Easter Sunday and Easter Monday. Then open as normal from Tuesday.

Had full set up and a fret fixed on my les paul. Very happy with price and service.

Bought my daughter her first ukulele from this shop on Tuesday. The owner couldn't do enough to help us! We bought a very reasonably-priced ukulele for my daughter to begin to learn on. I asked about music books, the owner recommended a very reasonably priced book which he said had been very helpful in teaching his wife to learn. There were more expensive books there, but the owner recommended this cheaper book as being the best book for beginners. Customer service impeccable, instrument was very reasonably priced and sounds great! Can't recommend this shop enough and will be coming back for all our musical needs!
