What a year 2018 was for us here at Roman taxis. We have had drivers and office staff join us. We have had drivers & office staff leave us. We grew from a 3 car family business not many people had heard of in to something rather special. We have expanded our service area thanks to our drivers clients and customers.
We have also indulged in upgrading & adding to the fleet!... We now have even more cars to cope with the ever growing public demand.
Disabled access vw caddie with an extra wide solid ramp. With a safe working load of 660LBS 4 point wheelchair locking system. 3 point safety belt. Pre booking disability transport is advised to avoid disappointment.
8 seat luxury minibus plenty of luggage room for up to 10 cases Pre booking of an 8 seat minibus is advised to avoid disappointment.
Need a taxi in the morning for work or collage? Block bookings taken for regular users 1 call multiple journeys booked.
Pre booking is still advised where possible however 86% of callers asking for asap taxis I'm November & December all arrived in under 20 minutes. So a big thank you to all our drivers for the hard work and amazing work ethic over the last few months.
When we opened in March of 2015 we set our prices and have stuck by them for 4 years. We have been looking at the pricing structure and have decided to make alterations.
As of the 1st of February at 00.01 the price of Roman Taxis will be changing. + or - We hope we will have your continued support throughout 2019.

Wait and return. Might get a new suit whilst I'm here

We booked a taxi over a week ago to take us to a special evening out and bring us home again. We had a text saying a blue Mercedes had been despatched and this was the last we heard from this and I quote "reliable' taxi fim! We tried ringing to find out where they were and even left a couple of messages to which noone had the courtesy to respond to! We have had no apology either. This is certainly no way to run a business! We certainly won't be using this firm again!

We are very impressed with Roman Taxis. I booked a collection and return with them in January for last night, July. We were collected on the dot by Marilyn and same for the return journey by Dale. Both very polite and friendly. We were updated by text message at each point and will always use them in future if in South Wales. Thank you.

Very reliable service been using Roman taxis for my daughter back n forth Cearleon to Newbridge always on time and very reasonably priced

Very reliable drivers, reasonable prices, always on time and if you have any complaints you can ring the office and they would be dealt with immediately with no fuss. Has been highly recommend by many people including Gwent police.well worth a try at least.

Only heard of these tonight since betta cabs closed, excellent service mikey the driver dropped me off tonight (ex betta cab driver) and even waited for me to get the key in the door and in the house safe. A* Service highly recommend x

Left my phone in the cab returned to me within 30 minutes- cheapest taxis in Newport and superior service - give them a try you won't be disappointed!!!

I’ve used Roman for almost a year every week to and from the airport. The service was always exceptional even with a 5am pickup they were always on time and courteous. Thanks for going the extra mile Dale, Marilyn, Lyndon and the team you did a great job. It’s always a bit concerning with a flight to catch but you never let me down once. I have used Roman taxis for the first time this week for several journeys.A lovely friendly family firm who are very efficient and helpful. It is also lovely to have a lady driver sometimes. I shall certainly be using them regularly in future. Glad to have found a genuine company who go out of their way to help you

I am a support worker and take out disabled adults on a daily basses. I have been using this company now for over 6 months not once have I revived any lateness or bad service so reliable and are very cheap! Saved my tenants and myself loads of money as I need to watch my pennys! After using this firm for a very short time the company owner knew my tenants may struggle getting in and out of the cars so they went and purchased disable adapted equipment to help them in and out of the cars! Since using these I haven't used any one else and that's because of the service these people have provided me. Would highly recommend to anyone. Thank you to everyone at roman cabs!

Great service. With friendly drivers. An extremely helpful driver called Sean witnessed an accident I had in caerleon. He pulled over to help me and took control of the situation as I was so distressed (I was extremely grateful for this) Sean was so friendly & helpful with everyone at the scene. He took time out of his busy day to help me when he didn't need to. He even came back to the scene to see if everything was ok! I can not thank this company enough for all they did for me on that day, and after. I do not know what I would have done that day if it wasn't for you Sean! Thank you from the bottom of my heart roman taxis..thank you!

Brilliant Service from Roman Taxis. Airport pick up early hours of this morning by Jimmy at Cardiff Wales Airport. really nice comfy vehicle which was great after 4 and a bit hours sat in a plane seat. got us home really quick. Definately recomend you to others and will be using you again

Booked a mini bus on Saturday night 3 picks ups and 3 drop offs, fantastic, helpful and polite when booking, great price, reliable and a really really nice driver thank you, highly recommend ROMAN TAXIS ��

We booked roman taxis for our wedding on Friday, when we booked in may we agreed and payed for two Mercedes wedding cars but on Friday one Mercedes turned up for my bride and a Audi estate a6 turned up for me..... Not the car we booked very disappointed
