If anyone is planning a #newyearseve party ­¤ź│ and is looking for a home bar this is an absolute TREAT I tell you ­¤śü ItŌĆÖs an original 1950s half moon bar set on small metal legs. The front is Formica with teak strips that give it its stripy effect ­¤æÅ­¤Å╗. The top is also in a cream Formica to match the rest of the bar, all in tact too. Around the back of the bar there is one bottle opener and a sneaky hidden draw that slides out of the bar top. Underneath plenty of shelves for bottl...es,cans or glasses. ItŌĆÖs just amazing!!! The Double Helix sideboard was designed by David Booth and Judith Ledeboer in 1950 for Gordon Russell. Named after the recently discovered Double Helix strand structure of DNA, it was exhibited at the Festival of Britain in 1951 and the V&A holds an example in their permanent collection. It features a mahogany frame and rosewood veneered door fronts with the pattern routed out ...to reveal the white birch beneath. It has a double cupboard with brass drop handles containing an internal shelf. ItŌĆÖs an absolutely stunning piece that would look outstanding in any home. Ōśü’ĖÅ Dreamy Daybed Ōśü’ĖÅ just in @russellsretros . WeŌĆÖve had this beauty all week waiting to get it online, but itŌĆÖs taken a while to get it restored. It was varnished in a hideous dark red so we have stripped it back to its original self. The fabric granted is an acquired taste... ­¤śé but again so much potential for reupholstering in a fab grey or tweed fabric.
