At this property the existing hip timbers were rotten causing the roof to sag! -took off all existing tiles, laths and what was left of the felt.... -replaced rotten timbers with thicker treated timbers. -replaced rotten fascia with replacement upvc fascia boards. -installed breathable membrane, laths and new tiles. -finished off with maintenance free dry fix ridge kit.

GOING... GOING... GONE!!! Due to a customer having a major issue with damp around the chimney area for years. With many companies trying to resolve the issue with no joy. It was decided to take it down and we were the company do do it! Taken down one brick at a time to cause minimal damage and re felt and lath area with breathable membrane and made good of the area with new tiles and Vally tiles. Before, during and after of a repair done to a property in Albrighton. The felt from the tiled roof had holes in and didn’t overlap the flat roof sufficiently. And the Asphalt flat roof had cracks and raised patches. Repaired cracks and went over with a two layer felt system and finished with a flashing trim. Then replaced the bottom layer of felt under the tiles with a breathable membrane and gold standard lath beams. So here we have it.. the end of an on going project.. I give you the ‘garden room extension’. Done on a grade 2 listed building. Before, During and after photos. All installed and project managed by myself. With Sapele hard wood windows and finished with a beautiful aluminium duel pitch glazed roof with self clean solar control glass. Internal finishings were dry lining and skirting with wooden window sills. And heather brown quarry tiles to match with the existing floor.
