Thank you Jason at Sainsburys for the food contribution to our Big Brekkie event yesterday- we raised £272 for refugees

I was impressed with Shirley stores Lego card swap scheme, it has really helped my son complete his collection so thank you to the staff that helped.

As always it's a pleasure to shop there I doubt there are better or nicer staff anywhere

Lovely friendly staff. Nothing too much trouble. Very clean and tidy store.

I think the restaurant could have been made a little more comfortable but food was nice and affordable and staff were friendly so overall I liked it and would meet my friend there again for lunch.

Xmas = car park grid lock. Implement the three lane entrance / exit. You obtained planning permission some time ago. The intention was to ease congestion.

Set up a one way system in the car park and make the existing no entry except for company vehicles comply with the highway code.

This will make a vast difference when exiting.

Alternatively leave things as they are you will loose customers.

Is that is the policy for this store?

Only went into the cafe they either didn’t have what you wanted or the machine that you wanted a drink from was broken no good

I am getting fed up of spending good money in Sainsbury's Shirley. That's the 4th pineapple I have bought in the last 3 months that had been bad inside. Even our packet of veg for Sunday dinner was still hard after cooking it for over 25 mins. I have not had a problem with any of the other supemarkets fresh produce and yours is more expensive. It's ridiculous

Having used this store forever, I think my loyalty is all but at an end. The constant reduction in tills that are staffed by real people gets less each week, only to be replaced by the DIY check outs. These are ok if you have 2 or 3 items, but when you have £160 of shopping they are ridiculous but the store is forcing the public to use them.

A few years back, one cashier was telling me, there were 30 checkouts yet there are now only 12 and you're lucky if they are all open. The queues for manned tills gets longer each week as customers DON'T WANT THE DIY TILLS.

There is usually some naive shop assistant trying to persuade customers to use these new checkouts, but they can not see they are in fact promoting the demise of their own jobs!!

These tills are NOT for the customers benefit in the slightest but a way of cutting staff cost.

The ironic thing is that Lord Sainsbury is a huge Labour donor and supporter, yet seems more than happy to see hard working people on fairly low incomes made redundant whilst he makes millions from the business.

Least the fairly new Asda in Shirley has checkouts staffed with real people. #TimeForChange
