Sanremo Italian Restaurant

Visited here last Friday evening without a booking. (2 × adults 1 × 7 year old) They had only opened a few days beforehand. Staff were very friendly and both the choice and quality of the food was exceptional. Its great to have such a lovely traditional italian and super quality restaurant on our doorstep. Great menu and wine choice. Produce is locally sourced as well! Highly recommend and we will be visiting again.

Very authentic Italian restaurant with attentive and really pleasant Italian waiters. Great food and wine. Menu is uncomplicated but varied. Great choice for all tastes. So lovely to have this little gem so close to home. Will definitely recommend it and will definitely be returning very soon!

Took my partner here last night for his birthday and the food was amazing! The staff were so kind and very professional! Both food and the wine were lovely! Already planning on coming back in July for our anniversary � highly recommended!

Lovely night at this great local restaurant. The food was excellent and the service was attentive but not intrusive. Very good value for money and a great ambience.

Just had lunch in Sanremo 😋😋😋😋 all I can say is, its the best food I've ever eaten 😋😋😁😁 xx thought I'd died and gone to heaven 👼👼 I can definitely recommend the garlic mushrooms followed with the duck 😋😋😋😋😋. Service fab too xx

Great placd to eat staff very frendly and the food came out pipping hot and prices are very good will be going there many more time. About time somewhere to eat on Caerleon Road.

Fabulous Italian restaurant!! Brought my mum here for her birthday she had a written happy birthday with her dessert! The food was amazing! Great value for money.. I had duck and there was loads of it! Food was so fresh! Staff were very welcoming and warming! Will definitely be coming back!

Best place to eat out in Newport without a shadow of a doubt. Service, ambience and most importantly the food was amazing. Not often I make the effort to gush about a dining experience, but this place definitely deserves it. � We’ll be back soon.

Been wanting to try this restaurant since it opened as it is in walking distance so hubby can have a drink. Tonight was the perfect opportunity and we were not disappointed. Lovely food, lovely place and service. Had the sea bass which was wonderful. Can't fault a thing. It's a lovely modern unpretentious Italian restaurant. Can't wait to go back.

A gem of a restaurant.

Great food with a good choice, attentive yet unobtrusive, friendly, staff, lovely interior and atmosphere.

First visit and I will be back (probably quite often as it's within walking distance of my house).

Highly recommended. A must try. My folks and niece also enjoyed it.
