This week at Family Art Club we thought about what inspiration is and what inspires us. Our young artists searched the museum grounds looking for inspiration and fact finding while completing their Art, Artifacts and Nature trails. We then did drawings and painted designs for our painted rocks....soon to be hidden in the gardens as part of @Wolverhamptonrocks 🎨 ✂ ♻

We would like to say a big thank you to the wonderful Art and Design students at @cityofwolverhamptoncollege who have been volunteering to support our young artists at our Family Art Club and those who have been working in our shop. 👏👏👏

Come and explore the Beautiful grounds at Bilston Craft Gallery. Learn about the exhibitions and creating your own masterpieces 🎨 There is also an option to gain your Arts Award qualification 👩‍🎓 over a number of sessions to achieve your certificate 📜 The activities will be suitable for the whole family to join in and achieve together but most suited for 2 - 12 year olds. It will be £3 per young artist, accompanying adults are free. To book your family a place on our Art Club 🎨 please get in touch and let us know your young artists ages.

A lovely creative afternoon at our 'Family Art Club' today. 👨‍🎨👩‍🎨🎨 The young artists have been busy book binding and making Easter baskets from recycled materials ♻️🐰🐣🌼
They have crafted these bright and colourful books to use as their 'Arts Award' portfolios.
We also had a lot of fun making these Easter treat baskets with a range of materials from the SCARF store.

The lovely Heather and Lucy came to do an alien and robot workshop with my Year 2 class today and it was fantastic. Great organisation, top resources and super friendly - couldn't ask for better. The kids loved it and got so much out of it. Highly recommend SCARF! Thanks ladies xx

Love the range of weird and wonderful things to rummage through as well as a great source of fabric and paint. I am always inspired for new projects every time I visit and the prices are fantastic.

Love making things for my little boy and the classes really bring your creative side out! I'll be sad when it finishes for the summer holidays next week.

I went to one of the workshops today. It's way really good for baby to explore a wide range of sensory activities. It was also good for me to be creative and speak to other mums
