Never would I have thought it would be a pleasure going to the dentist! I'm new to the area & not yet registered with a dentist, I had woken up early with dreadful tooth ache, telephoned at 9.00am, was given an appointment for 9.50am, brilliant! When I arrived I was offered tea or coffee while in the waiting room.....that's a first for me at the dentist! I had a follow up appointment for 2.00pm same day, sadly had tooth extracted. But all was good, fantastic treatment, very relaxed, just what most people need when going to the dentist isn't really their favourite past time.

My husband visited as an emergency patient today. We decided whilst there to register with the practice. Suky was the dentist who treated my husband today and he had antibiotics. I got talking and mentioned I'm terrified and needed a wisdom tooth out. Suky suggested having it out there and then. After I'd burst into tears and said no his reassurance, patience and understanding lead to me having the tooth out. Two years I'd been waiting to have this tooth removed. If anyone is scared or nervous see this dentist. If he can calm me down he can do anything. I can't thank him enough.

Most people dread going to the dentist, I am one of those people. However today has changed my mind after having an emergency appointment for a tooth extraction today. From start to finish, all the staff were amazing, welcoming and friendly and very reassuring. My dentist Priya and her assistant were very calming and efficient. The practice itself is warm, welcoming, modern and very clean but doesn't have that horrible clinical smell! Overall excellent service, can't thank you enough.

Just been seen by Suki Singh. He is the most gentle, reassuring and patient Dentist i have ever met. He knew i was so anxious and scared, he did breathing exercises with me and helped me to relax. He waited patiently for my heart rate to calm and constantly checked in with me to make sure i was ok. He was very thorough and went through everything with me. I took my tooth out and even right until i left he was so kind showed me back to reception and wished me well on my recovery. £120 but 10pm saturday night with antibiotics and a tooth extraction i cannot complain one bit. Absolutely recommend especially in an emergency. Thank you so much.

It’s always been very efficient every time we have used this practice, always calming, I no that sounds strange for a dentist but it’s true, never have any worries going back, they sorted out my problem when my nhs dentist couldn’t see me for a week!

I had to visit this practice last night as an emergency. Never been in pain like it. What an amazing place. Staff were fantastic. And left pain free. I thank you sooo much. And your number will be stored in my phone.

I am so scared of the dentist that I’ve put off going for longer than I can remember. Both through the usual discomfort and memories of my childhood dentist! Scott Arms Dental Practice have honestly put an end to my fear. I had an emergency appointment this evening for an infected wisdom tooth and I had been panicking about it since I booked it yesterday.



The ladies behind the desk were so helpful and informative, helping me through the process of filling out the necessary forms. I was then taken through to the room by one of the lovely dental nurses. I was looked after by Dr Dara Cotton, who was so happy and smily that I had no choice but to smile too! I was talked through what was happening from beginning to end - which is so important when you can’t see what’s going on!



I have already booked my next appointment and am looking forward to beginning my dental journey with them. I fully recommend this practice. Just give it a go if you’re a nervous patient like me.

Having booked in with this Practice for the very first time, I have to say as an extremley nervous patient, my experience as nothing short of exceptional. My appointment was with Ollie who removed my badly cracked and unsalvageable upper wisdom tooth. I asked for IV sedation and cannot remember a thing from having the stuff administered until almost home! Mouth is comfortable following the procedure and more importantly I feel good following the appointment. Your practice is amazing and every single member of staff I encountered from Reception to Chair were outstandingly polite and kind. 10* Rating is my review, sadly can only give 5 :-) Any further treatment will be booked here. If you're nervous or dread the dentist - go here... do't want to go anywhere else!

Having been in pain for several days with a dental abcess I called Scott Arms and got an appointment straight away. I was looked after by 2 lovely ladies Camilla and Karen. They both done a great job and put me at ease as I hate the dentist. Would highly recommend this practice.

Had an issue with a tooth. My regular dentist was not available so found an alternative dentist who fitted me in as an emergency patient. Open late so suitable to attend after work and fabulous all the way through from first call to having treatment at very short notice. Very happy to recommend Scott Arms dentists to friends and family. Great experience. If you are in need of a dentist, go here they are very professional.

Dr Dara Cotton is my dentist and having never had a filling or extraction I was very nervous of having my tooth out today albeit my decision. I cannot thank her and the dental nurse present who made the whole experience so quick and totally painless and I would highly recommend them. Thank you xx

Big thank you to the people here especially Phoebe and her assistant. Phoebe was great with me very gentle and and made sure I was fully numb before extracting a badly broken tooth. Made me feel welcome/comfortable and were reassuring. Went to my own dentist crying in pain for 4days and he said he can't do nothing so i called this dental practice and they got me in the same day and took the tooth out with no complications. So greatful for them doing it, 90% of the immense pain has gone just the soreness left which is normal and bareable. Highly recommend! Thank you so much and sorry if I've spelt your name wrong ha x

After suffering for weeks with a poorly wisdom tooth and being put on a 12 week waiting list on the nhs I went to Scott Arms in desperation to see if they could help. Within 2 days I had my wisdom tooth removed by Oliver who was absolutely fantastic! Really put me at ease when he realised how nervous I was and his assistant (I can't remember her name) was also lovely wiping my tears and assuring me throughout the procedure. I then developed dry socket ÔøΩ my partner rang Scott arms and told the receptionist how much pain I was in and within an hour I was back there being treated for it and given immediate relief. I have been back a few times needing the gauze replaced and each time I call in pain I am given an appointment within hours and feeling so much better by the time I leave. It's been a long process but all staff including receptionists have been brilliant (even tho they're probably sick of seeing me ÔøΩ) I highly recommend ÔøΩ

After suffering all week end with no sleep and in sever pain I had no choice to book and emergency appointment here on Sunday. I new that I would probably have to have a tooth out. I must say a huge thank you to everyone that took care of me there they were fantastic I'm very nervous of dentist from past bad experiences. Absolutely fantastic, saw Emma, Roxy & Oliver. Had to have x6 teeth extracted. After over a year of waiting on the NHS, work done in the 1st week. Being an extremely nervous pt, Roxy & Emma were brilliant with me putting me right at ease. Will definitely stay with this practice & very highly recommend to anyone.

Hi I had privately paid for treatment by a Newley qualified 26 year old at the time by the name of Harpreet Rhaindi

Who's damage to my teeth has caused me to lose two teeth with a third and forth on their way too also a front lower tooth left protruding along with almost all my other teeth loosened or knocked out of place, this was all done after my first appointment while I was under sedation, why didn't I go back? I was more depressed about my teeth than before I'd gone there.. I've had to have treatment elsewhere to try to rectify my teeth to no avail, don't get me wrong the girl was so nice but niceness doesn't make you a good dentist does it? I don't agree with newly qualified people in this kind of industry that's supposed to help you health,etc wise.. they should always have a qualified person that knows there job and been in the profession for a number of years to be there to help advise or guide them and not just a secretary/someone who takes calls for appointments etc... my review isn't even 1 but I can't put any less.
