Bought my car from Kenny just over a month ago, and have only had excellent service from SGP - the slave cylinder went, so Kenny had a brand new 3 piece clutch put in within a day of receiving the car! Had a few more minor issues with the car, unsurprising as it's second hand, and SGP have only ever been prompt, courteous and helpful. Would recommend to anyone, and I'll be back when I need to upgrade my car, thanks guys!

i would NOT recommend anyone buy a car off SGP CAR AND COMMERCIALS .also anyone that has bought a car from SGP to check there bank accounts for any unauthorized withdrawals from there bank account ,SGP took money from my bank account while i was on holiday without my permission they try to say it was the banks fault but the bank confirmed it was not the banks fault .also they tried to say i had not paid for the car in full when i got home i checked my receipts and i had paid in full .in my opinion beware of SGP and watch your bank accounts if you buy a car off them useing a debit or credit card.we have got our money back off them and the bank has stopped our cards so they cannot take anymore money.Also it is very hard to get them to do repairs to your car they say they have ordered parts but they havnt the shop that they said they had ordered the parts from i went in and checked and they said nothing had been ordered from SGP .They talk nice to you when you are buying a car but they are nasty when you want repairs doing to your car then you see the other side off them.

Wanted to buy a Blue Peugeot 107 sport on Thursday, but before I came down I spoke to Kenny about the condition of the car since I live 80 miles away and just wanted to know dents scratches etc. And questioned the white stuff on back seat, Kenny said "oh I have just scraped it off looks like white chocolate", so I went down and to my disappointment the white stuff was slightly removed but at bottom of it it was pitting away due to the water damage from a leaking boot, boot had an household carpet not an original one, was smelly & full of mould, water in the boot was about half an inch deep with a dirty soaking wet cloth no spare tyre in it, checked the dipstick for the oil & was well below minimum (just at the tip) had white slime in oil filler cap, had scuff marks on back drivers bumper, drivers seat has got a patch on it where there was a hole in it, Kenny never mentioned them to me when I specifically ask him, if he did it would of been my decision to either come down or not, So buyers beware of this car, if you noticed not all pics show the above problems, was annoyed at the fact I wasted my time and money to go and see this car especially 160 miles round trip.

Most awful experience I've ever had buying a car !! I bought a isuzu trooper off them it started to play up the next , it cut out on a junction when I pulled out nearly causing another car to go in to me with my children as passengers , I rang them and they where not interested and dragged there heals to sort it out or ring me back .so I took it to a local isuzu mechanic who found a faults with it , need new front brakes new tyres all round as the inner walls are badly spilt , injectors leaking and the engine cutting out was caused by a oil sensor rod ! They have only paid part towards the oil sensor rod but I'm left with the bill for the rest . The manager steve is very rude not retuning my call and then he called me a f-ing bitch over the phone today and put the phone down on me . I have taken photo evidence of the problems and will be reporting to trading standards on Monday !! Please be careful if you buy of these people !!

Done a deal with Steve who to be fair seemed a nice chap, for a 206 and 12 month mot, it was slightly overpriced but was desperate so I left a deposit just for the boss to over rule it 2 hrs later when they discovered there was 2 month MOT already and refused to put the agreed 12 months on it. When I collected my deposit Steve was apologetic but the boss in my view was pig ignorent barley had the decency to say anything.

Don't trust Sgp cars with your bank details they will take money from your account without permission.also if you have to leave your car with them for some reason,empty out your belongings because things will go missing if you do buy a car on your debit or credit card ask your bank to stop your card because they will take money from your account after you have paid in full .don't trust this company they will not do repairs

Brought a Van from them went for a mot so had 12 months on it when I brought it got it home and there's oil pouring out the bottom took it back they had it a day and said it was done went back to pick it up it lasted 3 days before it was leaking again had a look my self and fount out the oil was coming from a rocker box gaset which I done myself 4 weeks later it starts leaking water so went to the garage spent £135 fixing it while it was there on the ramps they noticed the bottom wishbone was dangerous and no where legal and this van passed a mot 4 weeks before this and only covered 100 miles in that time biggest mistake I have ever made buying from this place I really don't know how they sleep at night



update the van was scraped last week as it was deemed unroad worthy by a local garage and would cost more than the van is worth to fix so anyone out there don't buy of this garage after spending £400 in 4 months on this van after 400 miles thankfully I have got a new van which is perfect and from a great family run business shows there are good dealers out there this just isn't oneeeeeeeeeee

Bought two cars and cost a fortune to put both right... do not use these arseholes. They should wear a mask and striped jumper. You have cost me a fortune you bastards

Bought a van from them and after a 3 weeks the water pump went. After another week, due to poor fitting the belts broke and smashed the engine. Another week later and now had to take it to a reliable garage for new clutch, to find the gearbox, engine, starter motor and exhaust system was held together by only half the bolts (other half missing), the steering shaft is damaged, causing the steering to play up and air pipes were not even connected. It is now obvious they do not so the correct checks on vehicles before selling them on, as well as having some terrible so called mechanics to hand. Has cost me thousands in loss of work and now repairs. Will not be using or recommending to anybody after this experience.
