Bolted the sliding vice to the table today... At last I have a proper vice in the shop! 😄
I may ot may not now have a Cummins 6BT engine.... 😱
So I've spent the last month or so welding and fabricating up the tent support frame for the trailer.
Slightly over engineered, but should last for ever! 😄
.... And it now has a working overrun hitch since the old one was bent.... Must have been dropped from a helicopter while on deployment. 😄
Trailer will receive it's roof tent soon. The front chassis brackets are finished.
Rears and superstructure to follow shortly 😄
Slowly reclaiming my shed back after weeks of dumping stuff in here
Another night on the mill now it's running nice and slow. Profiling some channel for my trailer roof tent supports
Sometimes you do a really good job...
Others, you just bodge it all together 😂
I've done both
A gift of drill bits... Only useful sizes 😉
Normally when you decide to do some roof work in the UK.... It rains....
Today was no exception 😡
I always wanted a skylight in the workshop 😉
6mm mild steel plate vs new 14mm bit. Nice springy bits
One of the many bargains from this weekend at the Newbury 4x4 spares show 😄
Extended roof rails now fitted to the Disco.... I can easily get all the sheets of 8x4 that I need 😂😂
Did someone say "convertible trailer"? 😂
Hinge 1 of 2 off tonight. I like this design... It allows the door to be taken completely off if needed
The Discovery 2 jack handle is coming along nicely.
Managed to get some knurling on the upper part of the handle tonight.
Couple of pics from the other day... EGR delete on the Discovery. Nice little job despite the rain! 😄
Seems to perform a little better now but I can still see a remap on the horizon 😂
