Our latest Air b n b review.... An absolutely beautiful little hideaway, in the middle of the Herefordshire countryside. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Our little dog loved the freedom and it was great to know he was safe and secure around the Shepherds hut. The local pubs also served amazing food (especially The Castle). Totally recommend a stay here- we will be back! Anna.

Lovely evening swim in the river followed by a drink at the Harp Inn Hoarwithy. Only 10 minutes down the road!

Words can’t describe how breathtaking this place is! What a beautiful stay at the shepherds Hideaway. We had a wonderful weekend, with our 2 dogs. The views are incredible, coming from the city it was amazing how there was no noise, it was so peaceful, just what we wanted. Sam and Emily are fantastic hosts, they made us feel at home the moment we arrived. The hut its self is a perfect size, we cooked, and there was a BBQ which was a lovely touch. The bed is unbelievably comfortable. The hut is so unique and pretty and had all what we needed. The toilet is just outside the hut, also a summer house which was ideal to put all our things in. The Farm is fantastic. There is a lovely seating area in the field, which is secure for the dogs they loved this! it was so nice just to let them play. I can’t praise Emily and Sam enough, the weekend was perfect and we are defiantly going to return. Thank you again both for a lovely weekend. x

When I booked the Shepherd's Hut as surprise getaway for my partner, the perfection of the location, accommodation and general ambience was even more impressive than expected. We were greeted by the lovely hosts who showed us to our cosy, wooden home for the holiday- fully equipped with a welcome basket of wine, bread and freshly-laid eggs; a log burner; a bbq and fresh white sheets (bliss!). The surrounding area is outstandingly beautiful with plenty of waking routes which any furry friends will love. We don't usually return to the same location over and over again, but this place is too special not to return.

What a beautiful hidden gem this place is! Breathtaking views with amazing walks. Emily & Sam were fantastic hosts who couldn’t be more accommodating. The hut itself was cute and cozy- very clean and the little touches really made it. You have thought of everything to help us enjoy our stay. Our dog really didn’t want to come home as she enjoyed the enclosed area to run free. The locals were welcoming and the pubs recommended to us by Emily & Sam really were fantastic. We've had an amazing time at the Shepherds Hideaway, idyllic and relaxing location, the hut was cosy and very comfortable. Sam and Emily were wonderful hosts. We and our dog loved it and will hopefully visit again soon xx Thank you.

We stayed at the Shepherd's Hideaway in May, booked as a birthday getaway.



The hut was immaculate and beautifully decorated. The bed was super comfy and with the log burner on, lovely and cosy! The welcome hamper was perfect - tea, coffee, croissants, fresh eggs, and wine - which was ideal to enjoy sat outside the hut enjoying the views all around of fields, hills, horses and sheep!



There's a toilet just outside the hut, but also a shower room, solely for guest use, a short walk to the back of the owner's farmhouse. There's also a large supply of logs for the wood burner and bbq, which we would have used had the weather been warmer!



Would definitely recommend!

We have just had a lovely 4 night break. What a lovely place & views to die for. A real chill out. The shepherds hut is great & a little home from home with everything you could need. We managed 2 night bbqs & had some lovely evening walks as well as sitting outside until nearly 11pm enjoying it all with fresh air to die for. We also managed to get some sightseeing in during the afternoons. We loved the freedom as did the dogs & we were all sorry to leave. Emily & Sam are just fab & can't do enough for you. Thanks so much we had a great mini holiday & we very much hope to be back Karen & Richard & Bella Maisie & Poppy x x x

Really fancy a stay in a shepherds hut .peace and quiet. All looks beautiful.

Perfect retreat clean comfortable quirky.the views are outstanding and the quality of accommodation is very high nice ensuite shower room warm comfy bed very clean. A welcome pack of farm eggs bread etc including 2 mini bottles of wine was waiting for us. Would and will be recommending it .
