Shropshire Community Venue Space CIC, helping deliver performance spaces for the creative community!

Shropshire Community Venue Space CIC, is an organisation with a goal. That goal is to help nurture and find space for the creative community to flourish, to perform, and to deliver in an ever increasingly commercialised world.

Be it a musician, artist, promoter or speaker we look for the right space to be the perfect platform for your material.

But instead of being hindered by restrictions found within the commercial industry - we offer a platform free from the greed of commercial profit. We are a non-profit organisation, and our mission is to help the creative community by offering a venue space for their mediums to grow.

We do this in two ways:

1. Offering a place to practice, meet up, and / or join a workshop and;

2. Offer a fully functioning licenced venue to perform their material, be it a music gig night, talk, gallery or any other type of show.

We have just acquired 32-34 1st Floor Riverside, (Former Inferno, Trade, Liquid, Park Lane night club) that's centrally located in the town of Shrewsbury. The venue is currently being optimised and refitted to provide the only dedicated licenced performance space in the area that merges the environment of a medium sized gigs venue and the soul of a non-profit organisation.

To help support the cause and cover the overheads, the venue shall be available for private hire and will also feature gala shows, touring bands and other fundraising events.

Whilst a former nightclub has been acquired, please note this is not a nightclub. A programme of shows and events will be published in due cause - so make sure to check the venue is open when you want to attend as the schedule will vary month to month.
