Here at Shropshire remaps and diagnostics we don't just do remaps for more power and torque, Today I've had a beautiful VW T5 camper which had a previous remap and dpf delete from another "tuner" and due to it running badly and being heavy on fuel the customer came to me to put back to original tune with the dpf refitted Then after checking all was well it was treated to a stage 1 tune to 187bhp and now drives like it should.

A lovely new 2019 Transit courier 1.5tdci now remapped to stage 2 ,145 BHP and 325 NM.

This last few weeks have seen a few surge on remedial work from vehicles with running issues caused by cheap remaps and poor workmanship, opening up modern ecu's can be a tricky job to carry out and care needs to taken when doing so, along with cheap poorly done software this can lead to lots of issues along the way, from poor fuel consumption and black smoke to failed injectors and poor starting. So sometimes it does pay to research where the map files are coming from and what back up you have if it isn't what you wanted, Here at Shropshire Remaps only we Celtic Tuning for the map files and offer a money back and revert to origional tune garentee if you are not happy. We had some very positive feedback from a local trader last week, we remapped his 2.0 VW T5 shuttle to 180 bhp and on his first long journey since he has reported over 43 mpg which is 8 mpg better than he ever managed before. This was fully loaded with people and luggage so the remap will have paid for itself within 8 months use.

Here at Shropshire Remaps we are remapping a lot of big vans lately for extra torque and better MPG, for instance we recently had a 2010 Vauxhall movano in with the 2.3 100 bhp engine which we increased to 170bhp with a massive 115nm of torque increase, after a weeks running the customer reported back an 8MPG increase on his usual runs going from 30mpg to 38mpg.
