Today's Shropshire tour took us to Ironbridge and to Blists Hill Victorian town museum. Lovely to see the iconic Ironbridge being uncovered after recent renovation work, to return it to its original paint colour. Don't forget to visit beautiful Shropshire and be driven around in comfort with the knowledge of our tour guide. Bookings are already coming in for 2019. We can adapt our tours to suit your wishes.

The trees are changing colours and the true signs of Autumn are engulfing the gorgeous Shropshire countryside. Don't forget to contact us for your bespoke tours of Shropshire and the surrounding counties. This photo was taken by one of our directors on an outing to Powys Castle, just over the Shropshire border.

Hay-on-Wye Bookshops Tour £15 Sat 16th June
PROVISIONAL BOOKINGS CLOSE ON 12thMAY
A full-day Tour, which leaves from Abbey Foregate Car Park and goes through some of the renowned Black & White villages of Herefordshire, with a stop for a pub lunch (not included), and has an afternoon in the book capital of Britain, Hay-on-Wye. ... The Black & White Trail attracts visitors from far and wide and, although we Salopians take wooden framed buildings for granted, these scenic villages are like film sets because there are so many very close together. Hay-on-Wye is a small town which can be walked around in 20 minutes and has over 20 bookshops selling used paperbacks to antiquarian rarities in buildings from small shops to an old cinema, so there are thousands to choose from. It is also a thriving market town with some interesting independent shops. Reservation enquiries :- info@shropshiretours.com

The Brother Cadfael Tour based in #Shropshire The fictional character, Cadfael, is a Welsh Benedictine monk living at Shrewsbury Abbey in the first half of the 12th century. The historically accurate stories are set between about 1135 and about 1145. We offer two tours where we drive through countryside largely unchanged since Cadfael’s days and it is easy to transport yourself back 800 years to these times. http://www.shropshiretours.com/tour/broth er-cadfael-tours/
