We stayed with our two young children for 2 nights over the Easter weekend. It was their first introduction to camping so chose to stay in a yurt to see how they got on. We all loved it and doubt we will ever go back to pitching our own tent again! Everything we needed was already there and made a big difference having your own facilities. Was such an adventure for the kids and a relaxing break away from it all. Cannot wait to book again!

We stayed here for 2 nights. We were greeted by Jan and a very excited Brack (the dog) who was lovely! We were driven down to our Yurt in their tractor pick up. We were in Bluebell. When we arrived at the bottom of the field it was the most magical place!! Inside the Yurt was everything we needed. A very comfy bed, towels, plates and cutlery. There was a small table and chairs to eat at. A sitting area and a log burner. Which we did use even though it was July as the weather wasn't brilliant. It was very tastefully decorated. Outside you have your own Kitchen with cooking utensils, pot and pans, kettle with gas burner. A sink with a cold water tap. A cool box and they provided the ice blocks. Next door is your own toilet and shower. The water in the shower wasn't very hot but it's ok. They do provide a shower room back at the farm but it's a 15 min walk. There is a fire pit which due to the weather we didn't use but they do provide wood and fire lighters. The yurts are set in beautiful woods or open fields. You are free to explore the whole farm which we certainly did. We didn't see anyone the whole time we were there. If you are looking for the ultimate quiet get away then look no further. Would definitely recommend. We can't wait to return!! Thank you for a lovely stay!!

We have just returned home after a brilliant 2 night stay at Buttercup Yurt, enjoying the glorious bank holiday weather. When we arrived, we were warmly greeted by both Jan and David who were very welcoming. After being introduced to Brac and Hux, our 5 year old daughter Eva was invited to feed the fish in the pond. After this, David drove us down to Buttercup Yurt with all our stuff. Our stay was off to the perfect start!

Buttercup Yurt is situated in a beautiful position looking out across the field to the woodland in the distance. Inside it is spacious, beautifully furnished, cosy and inviting. We made good use of the wood burner when the the temperature dropped in the late evening, and the bed and duvet made for a great nights sleep. A fox barking outside in the early hours was a sound we are not normally used to hearing, but was all part of the experience! The kitchen area outside had everything we needed to enjoy a great cooked breakfast the first morning, taking in the stunning views in the early morning sun.

Our daughter enjoyed every moment at Silligrove Farm, from running and playing in the fields, playing with Brac and Hux, sleeping in the Yurt, to playing table tennis in the barn.

With a little help from David to get the fire started, another highlight was sitting around the firepit, toasting some marshmallows, enjoying the warmth and watching the flames as the sun set.

We hardly saw anybody else and it really felt like we had the place to ourselves. It really was a perfect and memorable weekend that we didn’t want to end. Thank you Jan and David. We will definitely be returning!

We have just returned from a fantastic weekend break in the Woodland Yurt. David and Jan welcomed us on arrival with homemade cakes and and a bottle of bubbly. Our boys have had a magical time that they will never forget. The Yurt has absolutely everything you could need. You literally only need your food and clothes. Fresh towels, & toiletries, firewood and BBQ coal were all supplied. I think we slightly over packed for a weekend as we didn't no what to expect. David kindly made two trips taking our belongings to the Yurt. We have loved waking up in the morning to the peacefulness of nature. If you have considered Camping in a Yurt this is definitely a place you should book. Wouldn't of changed a thing! Amazing

We have just got back from two wonderful days of rest and relaxation. The beds were so comfortable and the peace and quiet so calming that we’ve had two of the best nights sleep in ages. The fire pit was great fun and we barbecued last night, charcoal supplied. All very convenient. The space is beautiful. There’s plenty to interest little ones, horses, pheasants, chickens, fish and two friendly dogs. Also table tennis for a rainy evening. The hosts couldn’t have been friendlier. All in all ten out of ten!!

We had the pleasure of staying in the Woodland Yurt, Silligrove Farm over the August Bank Holiday weekend and it was a delightful experience that we would highly recommend.

Our hosts were fantastic and went out of their way to make our stay as pleasurable and comfortable as possible including presenting us with an anniversary gift, helping us with lighting the fire when we had difficulty and staying up to take us via the truck to our Yurt so we could avoid walking through the fields in the rain. The Yurt itself is very cosy and really is in the middle of the woods providing complete serenity. Jan organised breakfast in the morning for us which was very generous and delicious! We loved walking round the farm itself and would recommend the walking trails around Wyre Forest, The Hop Pole Inn in Bewdley and The Green Cafe in Ludlow. This was a very new experience for us but it was a perfect break from the city and one we would definitely return for. Could not thank our hosts enough or recommend it more!

User

This was our last holiday just the 2 of us and we had a fabulous time, even saw a deer in the forest just over from the tent! Facilities were great, everything was there for us and we even had extra blankets brought to us when it got cold we're planning on a return visit to bluebell with the little one too, she will love it! Thanks Silligrove for an amazing holiday xx

User

This place is magical, secluded yurts beautifully kitted out with absolutely everything you need. The owners were very friendly and let the boys ride in the back of their truck whilst ferrying all our luggage down to the yurt, Jan gave us some homemade brownies which were lovely and David gave us a bottle of red!! I even said to David this is the kind of place that you don't want to give a good review about because you want to keep it all to yourself, but the effort and love that has gone into these yurts deserves rewarding. David asked if there's anything we could suggest or any ways they could improve on people's time at the yurts as we said we have been glamping a few times and I honestly couldn't think of a single thing...it was perfect!!! Thank you and see you again soon. Ps.. the boys are still going on about their new friend, Brack- the friendliest dog I've ever met x

User

Thank you so much to Jan and David who are lovely friendly hosts who welcome you with homemade cakes and wine!. We stayed in the Bulebell yurt for two nights with our boys and we loved every moment. The yurt is positioned perfectly looking over beautiful woodlands, its very comfortable and well equipped, theres a fantastic outdoor cooking area with toilet and shower next door. We fished with nets in the stream, lay on the grass and counted the stars and spent magical times around the fire pit. What a treat for a quick getaway!!! Such a great experience, we hope to be back soon.

Stayed here with the family , The yurts and the bell tent are situated in very peaceful grounds and woodlands not close to each other, Our bell tent was well equipped with some extra touches and was very comfortable . There is use of a table tennis table in the woods and a tennis court at the farm. David and Jan were very helpful and welcoming and my girls loved Brack the dog

User

Lovely place and lovely people. Being first time campers and having small children, we didnt know what to expect but a fantastic time was had by all. Thank you

Just returned from a mid week break. My family had the Woodland Yurt and my brothers family stayed in the Buttercup. Our children loved the adventure of the walks and the open fires, especially toasting marshmallows! There was everything we needed to hand and both Jan and David were extremely welcoming. The Yurts are packed with everything you need to feel at home - topped off with a wonderful bottle of wine and some homemade cakes upon arrival. We will be returning again soon! We have definitely found a little gem here!! X

Just got home after an amazing long wedding anniversary weekend at Silligrove's Buttercup Yurt with my husband and 2 children. David and Jan couldn't be anymore welcoming and the kids thoroughly enjoyed their transfer from the farm to the yurt in the back of David's tractor. The yurt itself was beautifully decorated and the space surrounding it was glorious. Everything had been well thought of. Kiara and Joshua made new animal friends and memories that will stay with them forever. We will hopefully be returning very soon and will be recommending you to all our friends families.

Just got back from a lovely weekend with three of our grandchildren, we stayed in the woodland yurt it was a very pleasurable experience as we've not stayed in anything like this before. On arrival we were greeted by David and Jan who were very welcoming from the start. We were driven down to the yurt in David's little 4 x 4 truck which the children thoroughly enjoyed. Jan also cooked us our tea which was homemade fishpie and sticky toffee pudding, not forgetting the rock cakes & bottle of wine.. well worth the little extra money. Children had such a great time walking through the mounds of bluebells and the walk through the stream . Very sucluded, lot's of space between each yurt. Will definatly be using again perfect getaway retreat.

User

Just back from a wonderful stay in the Dinglebell bell tent this weekend, such a relaxing, cosy and private setting with everything you could need and more for a glamping trip! Relaxing around the huge fire pit with a glass of fizz, and wandering around the local woodland and countryside. 2 nights wasn't long enough, so we'll be back!

User

Just back from a wonderful 2 night stay in Bluebell. We had a lovely greeting on arrival from David, Jan and Brack the dog. The adventure started with a tractor ride down to our yurt with our bags (complete with our complimentary wine and delicious rock cakes), which was a good way to see some of the farm. As we drove down the hill we felt like we left the world behind us! The yurt was beautiful - spacious, very comfy, tastefully done and well equipped. A wonderful place to switch off. Thank you, we'll definitely be back!

User

Just back from a brilliant weekend it the woodland yurt. The weather did not allow for a fire pit experience, but it was such a beautiful spot with an amazing warm welcome that the weather did not dampen our enthiusiasm. The yurt was fantastic and the whole area was really well set up. Our kids loved it from the initial tractor ride to the yurt, the games and forest walks, and keeping the woodburning stove going. They took this responsibility very seriously! Waking up with the see through roof so we could see the sky was amazing. This was our first glamping experience, and it was marvellous. I am not sure we would risk going anywhere else, and are already hoping to go back to get the weather for a proper camp fire.

User

Had a magnificent long weekend staying at Silligrove Farm for my partners birthday. We hired all three Yurts and both Belltents - all were lovely - every guest was very happy and also awe struck by the location and views.

Jan and David were incredible hosts, and there was a lot of attention to detail.

Will definitely be looking to visit again one day.

Highly recommended.

Fabulous place! Looked after a hen party of 19 people including a Dolly Parton tribute act and couldn't have been more accommodating!

They catered for a meal for the 19 of us as well as ferrying us and all of our stuff back and forth!

Really couldn't recommend this place more! Thanks for all of your help Dave and Jan, can't wait to come back!
