***Clarification regarding the cupcake sales for the Alzheimer's Society*** This morning I was questioned or rather it felt like my Integrity was questioned regarding the amount raised from three days of selling cupcakes for this worthy charity. I like to 'Reconfirm' that as previously stated 'ALL THE MONIES' from the sale of the cupcakes would be and has been donated together with any other donations made. The funds were kept completely seperate from our transactions throug...h our till and as those who purchased cakes or made donations, you know that you indeed placed the money in the charity box provided by the Society. I was delighted when the majority of cakes purchased were in boxes of 6 for £10 rather than individually. On Saturday afternoon at around 15:55, I made a mad dash trying to sell the remaining cakes to which they were reduced to a £1 however, I thought a £1 was a. 'Better than nothing' and b. 'No wasted cake'. All monies were counted each afternoon with two members of my team present. I was delighted by the amount raised but somehow the delight has disappeared. However, on a happier note a lovely lady called Mary donated £10 this morning, so a grand total of £511.51 has been raised and the money has already been paid into the Alzheimer's Society Bank Account around an hour ago. There wasn't a free table when we arrived as there were reserved tables, but the staff brought a couple more tables in and made room inside and it was a lovely meal. Pleasant relaxing atmosphere. There was plenty of choice and the deli counter looked delicious too. Next time I think we will try the cakes! Can't wait. Thank you.

My sister and I always enjoy our visits to Simply Delicious but yesterday the staff we’re especially accommodating making my sister one of the items on breakfast menu she was craving. It’s bern a tough week losing our dad and then it was my sisters birthday - so thank you I know it probably didn’t seem a big request but it put a smile on her face that’s been rare this week.

My daughter took me, her nan, her partners mum and nan and her auntie for afternoon tea and it was amazing. Will definitely go again

Lovely morning spent in Simply Delicious.....another quality eatery to add to my list of (2) places you can get a decent Chai Latte.

Coffee and walnut cake was yum but the coconut and raspberry slice was the silent assassin; sitting there looking all pale and interesting before attacking my taste-buds in the most glorious way. I checked out the lunch of as many of the other customers without appearing too nosey and will be back soon to try something different.

Go there quite often for coffee, today we had our breakfast there. The staff are very polite and welcoming, the venue is always clean and well presented and there are always flowers on the tables. The food is excellent and presented nicely. Recently for a birthday treat I booked the venues for a cream tea event with her friends they all loved it. An excellent place.

I have enjoyed their afternoon teas for birthday celebrations and breakfasts are so varied and enjoyable that it's nearly lunch time when I leave! We was there yesterday morning for my sons 30th breakfast get together with my family , fab service, child friendly. Only complaint I have is that it was cold in there which spoilt it a little bit .

Popped in Friday afternoon with my husband at 2.30pm with my husband,there was no jacket potatoes left . Both ordered the special pannin but there was only 1 left ...i had a hot chocolate and my husband had a latte and they were only just warm...but when the food arrived the food was delicious, the staff was very friendly and it was a lovely atmosphere and lovely and clean ..I would go back and eat again
