Opera Nation is a project working with young performers from the West Midlands who are interested in developing their performance skills. If you enjoy singing or acting, Opera Nation is for you.
The workshops will be led by a team of professional musicians from the Royal Opera House and Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and you must be aged 14–18 to be eligible.
There is a session taking place on Tuesday 14th January 6 - 9pm at Netherton Arts Centre, DY2 9ER. Register to take pa...rt at www.operanation.eventbrite.co.uk and chose the Dudley option as you fill in the form.
After the taster workshops are complete a group of students will be selected to join a fully-funded programme with Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and Royal Opera House

The #countdowntochristmas got into full swing last night, with brilliant performances by our Intermediate Brass Band, Intermediate String Orchestra, Youth Concert Band and Youth Orchestra. A good job by all involved, and fantastic start to the festive season! 🎅⛄🎉🎶

Our Mini Maestros and Chamber Groups brought a 'Whisper of Christmas' to town yesterday evening - a festive start to this week of concerts 🎄🎀
Tickets are still available for December Delights (6.30pm today, at West Bromwich Town Hall), which features our Jazz Orchestra, Intermediate Concert Band, Training String Orchestra, Youth Brass Band and Rowley and Wednesbury Area Bands. We hope you can make it, to support our young musicians! 🎶

Congratulations and well done to all our Mini Maestros and Chamber group players who played in 'A whisper of Christmas' last night. We are very proud of you all. Massive thanks to Sandwell Libraries for use of a great performance space and for looking after us so well.

Last night saw our Rock & Pop Evening at Central Library, West Bromwich. Ukulele Rocks! Band, Band Together and Tuesday Coffee Social performed brilliantly - well done! 🎶
