Four more sleeps and two more days until I'm off for my Christmas hols. Vouchers available if you need a last minute gift and lots of other woolly lovely to keep you occupied over the break. If you don't currently have a WIP can I suggest investing in a ball of anything at all so that when the inevitable family Brexit debate kicks off you can pretend you're counting stitches and a spare crochet hook is always a good idea should you have one too many Tia Marias and lose it to the bowels of the sofa (just me then🙄)x

The Christmas Wool Fairy has just visited so once again we're full to bursting with lovely aran and melange (and still time to whip-up a Christmas prezzie if you get a wiggle on). Fyi the shop will be closed from 23/12 to 8/1 while I sit on the sofa eating Twiglets - and I may do a bit of knitting😁

It's once again that time of year when I like to thank all my lovely customers for their humour, friendship, support and inspiration through the year but, not being a big fan of Christmas cards, I prefer to do it in a way that does a bit more good. This year I handed the decision over to the Beloveds who have chosen a donation to Crisis as a good way spread a bit of Christmas cheer. So please accept this as warm Christmas greetings, wishing you a relaxing, joyful and peaceful Christmas and a very happy new year☃️🎁🥂x

Now I've got good news and I've got bad news - the bad news is West Yorkshire Spinners are going to be discontinuing their Essentials range - boo (but replacing it with something equally lovely - hooray). The good news is that I've stocked up - but when it's gone it's gone so now's the time to buy!🏃‍♀️😍x

Wow. What amazing and friendly service. After leaving the house without my hook and not one in the shop that suited my personal preference. The owner handed me one of her own hooks so I could get started on my beautiful wool. Thank you so much. Will call again

Visited yesterday for the first time, what a lovely little shop, excellent help was recieved in finding some Dk wool in a rust colour to knit a jumper for my grandson, to replicate the colour of my dog on a fun jumper, thank you again, I will visit again.😊

I absolutely adore this shop! A much needed gem not too far from me with their own dyed yarn (dyed and gone to heaven)and I literally thought I’d died and gone to heaven. Rachel was so helpful and friendly and I will be visiting regularly from now on! Thank you!

Highly recommended. What a lovely shop with a wonderfully friendly owner! I had to visit whilst staying locally on holiday - and I’m very glad I did! Couldn’t resist some of their own hand dyed yarns (Dyed and gone to Heaven) and also picked up a few sale bargains. If only I lived closer!!!
