Went for a family meal on Thursday evening and had a great meal, staff friendly and helpful, food was good and very reasonably priced, and even tried a few cocktails 🍹

We love eating at the Slug and Lettuce , great food , drinks and very friendly staff 😀😀

Visited last Friday of the month for 80's nite. Had a great time. 2 4 1 on cocktails which was great value. Very busy but everyone was friendly. We moved to the back of the room where we found another smaller bar and lots of room to dance. On the whole, a very pleasant evening

The food was lovely had the sharing platter which was plenty for 2 people and the drinks were excellent value bogof definatley come again

The Reuben burger is the nicest burger I’ve had in a long time, will definitely have again

My baby shower took place here in Jan 2018. The Sales coordinator was extremely professional and helpful from beginning to end. They are happy to arrange anything to make your event special and personal to you. Food, drinks, balloons and a designated area was all arranged for me at great value for money. I was very impressed on arrival and with the overall experience, as were my guests. Everything was taken care of and staff couldn’t do enough for me. I was able to sit back and enjoy the party.

Me and my wife and daughter always come here for food n drinks on our visit to Solihull the food and esp.staff are always great ���

Lovely place to go midweek for a catch up with friends friendly bar staff and atmosphere

Lovely place for the biggest best selection of cocktails food excellent waitress very efficient really relaxing definitely worth visiting 🍹🍹🍹very reasonably priced will have to try a dessert next time I go

I went yesterday for the traditional afternoon tea with my friend. What wonderful value for money! A HUGE array of nicely presented little sandwich bites, scones with cream and jam, 2 each! And lovely little bite size cakes. My friend had two pots of tea and I had two cups of coffee all for just £10 each!

We were so full we had to take some home!

The service was first class. Nothing was any trouble. Will definitely be returning again soon!

I go there quite regularly. Nice environment and friendly staff. Recently been refurbished and now looks really trendy and upmarket. Best bar/pub in Solihull by far.

Hi Slug an Lettuce. Ive been a patron here now for the past 12 months enjoying lunches an drinks at your great venue. Most recently ive had a first date there too. This evening i started to enjoy my 2nd date. After 3 drinks we went next door to ASK for a bite to eat. On returning to your venue to meet friends we stood in the queue. After a few moments a very polite doorman came over an said that rather than waste our time we should leave the queue because my date was wearing trainers..... these are £100 adidas trainers worn by a 48 year old proffessional male.... come on guys, can you still discriminate in 2018 on footwear... earlier in the summer i wore flip flops in your venue, this maybe a crime to fashion, however perfectly acceptable. I look forward to your response....

Had my wife's 40th bash here staff were all very helpful food and drinks were excellent. My wife and our guests had a fantastic evening thank you highly recommended.

Had my birthday celebrations at Slug and Lettuce yesterday and we all had an amazing time! Cocktail masterclass was really well organised and Sam was fantastic - a huge thank you to him for running it for us! Well organised with Amy beforehand, requests were dealt with really well and everything ran really smoothly! Food was great as well, and really good value for money! Would recommend to anyone thinking of a nice chilled fun evening celebration!

By far the best place to go in Solihull.

A fab venue for any celebrations night out. I've held a big birthday celebration & my hen do there. Looking forward to holding our wedding reception there in Sept 2018. Can highly recommend this place!

Went for lunch with my mum and 14 month old son. Staff very pleasant and helpful with getting a highchair and child menu. What pleased me the most was that the waiter brought us child-sized cutlery for my son. A brilliant idea as he likes to feed himself, but wouldn't be able to do so with an adult fork. Other restaurants would do well to follow suit. My mum and I both had burgers and they were delicious.

We really enjoyed our visit to the Slug and Lettuce in Solihull, it was very busy , but the service was good, also the food . We were enjoying a family meal together, and were very lucky as there was a good atmosphere in there . We shall definitely visit again !!!!

GreAt night out and friendly staff but they need to sort the floor out. Felt like walking on a trampoline and can only be time before it collapses all together. Nearly fell flat on my face twice and only wish it was the drink lol.

the bar staff lovely ,the music is not played to the age group,ok if you are between 17 and 25 .when i asked the dj to played to the older age group , i was told i have got the numbers up ,so must be doing something right. at that point we left .must remember slug and lettuce its tbs over 40's with the money to spend NOT THE KIDS

The first time I've been there for my daughters bday yest the staff were nice and the surroundings are nice but didn't enjoy the sharer meal we had the chicken wasn't cooked properly we complained but got £1 50 off bill which wasn't good I wudnt eat there again .

Ordered the meat sharing platter, just full of grease and tasteless, though I must admit the staff were great

Been coming here on and off for years and always enjoyed our nights out but now the excessive wait to be served at the bar is really off putting for myself and others that have spoken to me about it....not much fun waiting forever behind someone ordering numerous cocktails when all you want is an ordinary drink....couldn't you split the bar between people wanting cocktails and people who just want to purchase a beer or short or at least use the so called cocktail bar at the top to ease the strain...you would make a lot of people happy.

Warm beer as chiller broken wouldn't give us cold glasses from chiller.

My man drinks Ale as no ale he had house better I had 3 pints to his one

Good music, friendly staff but REALLY need to sort out the ladies loos, no toilet roll, no doors. . Extremely dirty. . Awful!

Very slow bar service,haven’t been for a while because of this and nothing has changed,the bar staff don’t look who’s waiting they just serve whoever is standing in front of them,won’t be going back.

I have always loved the slug and lettuce hence why we booked an early table (pre-theatre) for my mother-in -law’s birthday. We had booked a table for 10 but when we arrived there were on 3 tables pushed together which would normally on sit 2 each so enough room for only 6. When my husband asked if we could have another table added we were greeted with 2 rude waitresses telling us there was plenty of room, (which there wasn’t, elbow to elbow and plates would have been between cracks on table). Eventually after arguing with my husband for 10 minutes while we all stood there... they finally agreed to add a table, which was still only suitable for 8 but we moved the kids to the ends. The waitresses then decided to ignore us and not offer any children’s menus or drinks. After 20 minutes we finally gave up and left. TGI Fridays sat us straight away and we eventually had a wonderful evening.

I did complain to a manager and she did offer an apology but she also went to see her more senior manager who didn’t bother to come out and see me. I will never be dining there again.
