Smyths Toys Superstores

Went the Smyths Toy Store Oldbury today to buy a car seat for our Grandson. We were served by a lovely lady named Sham who helped us choose a seat that was perfect for our needs. Despite only just finishing her nursery training she gave us the confidence to know we were buying the best we could for our little bundle. Thank you Sham, for all your help. Tracey and Tony Dale

Went into the oldbury store today to look for a gift, (sulvanian toy) had difficulty finding it, asked a young man who worked there if he could help me. He was so helpful, looking out the back even getting the ladders to look on the top shelf.

He checked online and said that there was definitely one in the store .. but we couldn't find it. So I chose another toy and paid for it only for him to chase after me outside as he had found it.

The young man was the deputy manager.

He went that little bit more to help and thanks to him he will make a little girl very happy. Thank you

Very helpful, place organised so you can find what you want and staff pleasant. Great offer in the 20% off outdoor stuff. We brought a slide, bike, skateboard and helmet and saved over £27 thanks

After the shocking experience at another toys store just up the road, I was pleased with the amount of staff, knowledge of staff and the level of customer service today, keep up the good work :)

Ordered item on click and collect.satisfied with email info and my collection experience.Whilst instore i decided to buy a couple of other things.The chap on till didn't acknowledge me,told him i had receipt for click and collect item,he just nodded.Scanned my items took

my money and gave me receipt.No please,thank you,goodbye.Hope he is just a one off for your staff because i wasn't impressed

Bought a bike for my 6 year old yesterday , paid for them to assemble it. This am we went to the park and on the way back my little boy was pushing it up a gradient when it toppled over. I picked it up and the front wheel didn’t move....it had come loose and Moved in the forks I had to replace and tighten by hand....this could have been a nasty accident had he bounced over a kerb stone. Really not happy

Well I thought they were great and shipped here regular. Every pay day would pop in and do £50 quid ish and shopped here a lot and I mean a lot for Christmas. Will never shop there again now after having 3 £100 parking tickets for over staying on free parking Christmas shopping! All through the post with no other warnings! spent a lot more than 300 quid here by time you had a coffee and popped to diy shop very easy to go over. I will never shop here again left a very bad taste and all tickets came a few days before Christmas. Car park wasn't even full!!

Disgusting!!! Bought a game today for my son on the Nintendo switch called super Mario odessey went home opened it to find black duct tape rather than a actual game. Went to store to sort it out and have been told they have emailed the supplier and I've got to wait not guaranteed my game or my money back I understand what there trying to say but sure smyths have a duty of care to customers to refund or exchange for another now I am 45 pound out of pocket because of smyths toys superstores thankyou very much for ruining my sons day you absolute wastes of space!!!

Disgusting customer service!! Toy aimed at a 3 year old broken and no offer of exchange despite being dangerous to use!! Patronising staff!

Bought a sega, clearly states it has 80 built in games, it doesn't state that the games are demos. Informed the member of staff who's reply was " there still games though" after listening to his pathetic drivel and telling them they have mis advertised the manager came and spouted the same nonsense he. I have spent a fair bit in this store but not again. Smyths if your managers are this idiotic I dread dealing with them underneath.

Awful customer service. They just don't want to know. Sold me an item with a misleading description and just shrugged and said well we're not refunding or exchanging it because we didn't make it. Can't believe they're still in business with an attitude like that.

After the phone call I made today I was not happy with the managers response,shame on you!
