About Solihull Water Polo
Matches take place at Xcel Leisure Centre on Sunday evenings. Training times are Monday, Tuesday & Thursday 7pm-9pm , Wednesday’s 8-9pm at Solihull school.
Solihull Water Polo Description
Solihull Swimming Club has a very active and successful water polo section for both boys, girls, men and women.
The senior men's team compete in Division 1 of the British Water Polo League and based on last seasons results (2016 /17) are ranked 3rd in Great Britain. The Senior Womens team has recently formed and is competing in the Midland League.
The Club also has teams in various championships and competitions for junior men and junior women (under 18), youth boys and girls (under 16) and academy boys and girls (under 14).
The Club has produced a number of junior international players over the years with two competing at the London 2012 Olympics, Jake Vincent & Rosie Morris.

Joe Hood is getting his first England Cap's at the U17 EU Nations in Brno, Czech Republic. The team played their first game today beating Austria 15 - 12.
... Rhys Tippings, Jack Dearden, Toby Dearden, Pratham Kaushal, Dennis Buhaescu, Dan Hindle, Aurelio Lencioni & Haris Khan are in Serbia representing the West Midlands Region on a training camp.

Congratulations to the West Midland U18 Women's team who competed in the Inter Regional competition.
Three Solihull players made the cut playing this weekend with the team finishing 2nd in Division 2.

Solihull have finished 2nd in the British Water Polo League, Division One Men. After s poor start to the season is was great to finish this weekend with two wins.
The Super Five Championship will start after Christmas with with the team looking to defend last seasons title.
