Price Guide:
Prices vary depending upon:
1) Midweek or Fri, Sat, Sun.
2) Number of hours worked and times of your function.
3) Location of function room, upstairs or ground floor.
4) Distance to your function.

£40 deposit secures booking. all booking confirmed in writing.

Lighting:
We can offer a variety of effects including 2 silk flame-effect lighting units, smoke machines, bubble machine, lasers, even a snow machine for christmas parties. For that special occasion we can also offer a Scrolling lighting message of your choice at no extra cost. Strobe lighting also available on request.

Terms and Conditions:
Clients booking Sounds Aloud, or products and services affiliated to him, are bound by the following terms and conditions.
To secure your date for booking a small deposit of £40 is required (non-refundable after 7 days) this will form a binding agreement between both parties, and as such, the following should be observed: -
All outstanding fee's are payable in cash or cheque 14 days before venue, (unless previously arranged).
In the event of payment of the final balance not being received once setting up is completed, Sounds Aloud is not obliged to provide sound and lighting for the function. Sounds Aloud then reserves the right to recover any outstanding costs at a later date.
Any delays in the start of an event that are not under the control of Sounds Aloud, will not incur penalties or a reduced fee.
In the unlikely event that Sounds Aloud has to cancel due to sickness or unforeseen circumstances, and that a suitable replacement cannot be found, any fees paid by the client shall be refunded in full. (This will be the full extent of the liability).
In the event that a replacement DJ or entertainment company is used to fulfil an existing obligation, the client should inform Sounds Aloud within 7 days of them being notified that a replacement is to be used, if this is not acceptable to them. Furthermore, the terms of the existing contract remain in force, but are transferred to the replacement DJ or company. The replacement DJ or company may also amend the terms of the original contract, with agreement from the client. Sounds Aloud accepts no further liability whatsoever.
Should additional entertainment time be required, overtime is charged at the standard rate until midnight thereafter rate increases.
Sounds Aloud requires access to the function room, at least 1 hour 30 minutes prior to the start time to set up and co ordinate sound and lighting and 1 hour minimum to pack up and vacate the venue.
In the unlikely event that the equipment should totally fail (excluding circumstances beyond Sounds Aloud control i. e. a power cut) a pro rata refund will be given for the time remaining.
Sounds Aloud reserve's the right to cancel services should it be discovered that the venue is unsuitable or dangerous. In these circumstances, no refund will be made.
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure the venue is equipped with at least 2 double working standard sockets.
If at any time, before or during the event, there is deemed a threat to the DJ – staff or his property, Sounds Aloud reserves the right to terminate services without further notice. In these circumstances, no refund will be made.
Photographic or recording equipment may be used at your event, for promotional purposes. If this is not acceptable, you should advise Sounds Aloud, or in writing beforehand.
Occasionally, smoke and /or strobe lighting maybe used. If you believe any of your guests may be affected by these special effects (i. e. photo sensitive epilepsy), please advise accordingly.

Cancellation Policy:
Any cancellations advised 14 days (or more) prior to the event date will incur no additional fee other than the Non Refundable Deposit
Cancellations made between 8-13 days of the event will incur a booking fee charge of £100. additional to the Non Refundable Deposit.
Cancellations made within 7 days of the event date, will incur the full fee.
Notice of cancellation should ideally be made in person using the contact telephone numbers available on the website. Failing that, you may email or post your notice. Please be advised that unless a cancellation is CONFIRMED, it is not yet considered final. You should therefore ensure that you can provide evidence of the date you first attempted to cancel, in case of a dispute.

How Long have you been established?
Sounds Aloud was established in 1996, All bookings are confirmed to our clients in writing. Sounds Aloud is not an entertainment agency and is 100% owner operated, and so we do not sub contract out mobile disco work to other DJ's. This means that you deal with the same person from your initial enquiry right up until the end of your function.
Majority of our work load comes directly from word of mouth recommendations from our previous clients to their friends and family.

What Functions do you attend?
Any Function which requires a disco! From Wedding Receptions, Family Birthdays, Retirements, Engagements, Christmas Parties, Student Nights, University Balls, School Discos etc. Look No Further

What music do you play?
We have a very comprehensive selection of music. This includes popular music from the last five decades including 60s, 70s, 80's, 90's, old school, Motown, Soul, Rock'n'Roll, along with the very latest chart & dance music tracks. As each individual has their own favourite taste in music we find that at the majority of functions with a mixture of all ages in attendance, that a selection of all types of music works well.
At more formal functions suitable Low level background music can be played if required whilst your guests arrive and during any Evening buffet or dining break. Request from your guests can be taken throughout the disco.



Can I choose the music that you play?
Yes! ! , if you wish, you can submit a request list containing a small selection of 15 / 20 of your favourite tracks to us before the event, to allow for continuity and any audience requests on the night! and we will endeavour to play them for you during the disco.

What is included in your fee?
Our prices are fully inclusive! There are no hidden extras or additional fees (unless the function continues beyond the contracted period, or involves an upstairs venue where a small fee is charged). We provide you with a professional Sound & Lighting system, a vastly experienced DJ and a wide and varied music selection.
