The European parliamentary elections take place on Thursday 23 May.
Polling stations will be open from 7am until 10pm.
The votes will then be counted on Sunday 26 May, with results confirmed after 10pm.

Great news for babies and toddlers in South Oxfordshire - we have awarded a volunteering grant of £710 to First Steps Family Hubs in Watlington to train a volunteer to lead baby massage, baby yoga and toddler yoga courses for local families. If your organisation could do with some help recruiting volunteers pls get in touch 01235 422171.

If you've been clearing out the garden and got more waste than fits in the bin then we've got good news - all this week (from 20 May) garden waste customers can put an extra bin's worth of garden waste out and we'll collect it. You can leave extra garden waste out in bin liners or sacks beside the brown bin on your usual collection day. These will be emptied. Trade waste bags will not be accepted, however you can re-use old compost bags. Want to sign up to the service? We’ve got snack-tastic news – since the end of February when we joined the Walkers crisp packet recycling scheme we have recycled around 3,000 crisp packets . Huge thanks to everyone who has been recycling crisp packets in the collecting boxes in the reception areas of our buildings at Milton Park, Abbey House (Abingdon), Cornerstone (Didcot) and The Beacon (Wantage). Keep up the good work. Ahem ..we have found a few items in our recycling boxes that aren’t empty unfolded crisp packets. See if you can spot them…
