Detectives from the IOM have now located and arrested RIDLEY after a member of public saw him following the appeals.

Bank holiday is almost over, but what lovely warm weather we have had! Another one soon, and a spot of rain in between to keep us all fresh!
Our friends in South Worcestershire Cops have been out in this heat wearing black uniform, stab vests and carrying their kit! We are quite lucky on the Integrated Offender Management Team as we get to wear casual clothing most of the time.
But before we think of work tomorrow, almost time for the latest episode of Game of Thrones! No Spoliers please!

Driving back from some enquiries in a plain car on the M5 southbound. A lady overtook us in a black Mercedes driving at around 80+ mph whilst using her mobile phone leant against her steering wheel, and a van driver texting on his mobile phone as well. We are in a plain CID car so passed this to our motorway colleagues, and these drivers will be receiving their summons in the post!
It is beyond dangerous while driving several tonnes of steel down the motorway at high speed to... concentrate on your phone and not what is happening in front and around you.
People die as a result of this selfish stupidity. If you are in a car and the driver uses their phone, challenge them!

Long day for the team today! Started out with some planned enquiries and paperwork. Then stayed on late to conduct a number of enquiries for one of the people we manage who become unlawfully at large.
When returning to the nick after being 2.5 hours late off we assisted South Worcestershire Cops when a Male was reported to be outside the Police station in crisis.
Our Sergeant arrested him after he was found in possession of knives and a table leg!
... Team are all home now and ready for an early start to catch our outstanding offender!

Its world book day today! Our Sergeant made a costume for his daughter after she told him all the other girls had chosen the princesses they were dressing up as, and she had no one to go as 😥

Pitmaston Primary school is open for at least another hour, plenty of time to get down there, parked and your sample taken!
There are lots of wonderful volunteers and the whole process is very quick! Super easy.
Get your samples completed and hopefully we can find a stem cell donor for Oscar.

We have just arrested TIMBY in Highgate, Birmingham.
Jordan TIMBY is wanted on Warrant having been recalled to Prison.
... TIMBY was released on license from prison for numerous offences including Robbery, possession of an offensive weapon, various driving offences and assaulting Police Officers.
TIMBY is believed to still be hiding in #Birmingham, specifically #Highgate.
TIMBY has been wanted since July 2018. We will now be seeking to arrest any person we find have been assisting him and present them to the Courts with him.
Please share and help return TIMBY to prison.

DC Swoosh and DC Steven's are still on duty dealing with our two prisoners. Not ideal as its valentines day and they were meant to be home 2 hours ago!
But they know the Sergeant loves❤ them for their hard work and commitment and will most likely buy them a cake🍰 tomorrow to say thanks for staying on!
Their partners may not be so happy that they are not back yet given the occasion.

Malvern Patrol Officers made two excellent pro-active burglary arrests last night.
The suspects are both on the IOM scheme due to their offending history.
We have taken the investigation and prisoner handling on this morning, freeing up our patrol colleagues who can get back into the community on visible patrol.
