Wonderful place atmosphere etc. We visited this spectacular place in the Bullring Birmingham yesterday 30th jan 2017. What a spectacular location for the oldest Church in Brum.

This is the place to get away from a very hectic and noisy shopping centre. I am surprised it is not busier. Went twice for a quite cuppa. Was going to return a 3rd time at 4pm but it was closing. We had asked earlier about closing time and was told 4.30 so that was a little disappointing.

My childhood church. I was baptised in Christ Church, Summerfield. Rev (later Canon) Hinett. But from the age of 10 travelled, (unaccompanied), into Birmingham to St Martins in the Bullring. Rev Bryan Green was the Vicar*

* Bryan Stuart Westmacott Green, priest: born 14 January 1901; Curate, New Malden 1924-28; Chaplain, Oxford Pastorate 1931-34; Vicar, Christ Church, Crouch End 1934-38; Holy Trinity, Brompton 1938-48; Rector of Birmingham 1948-70; Honorary Canon, Birmingham Cathedral 1950-70 (Emeritus 1970-93); married 1926 Winifred Bevan (one son, one daughter); died Thame 6 March 1993.

BRYAN GREEN was one of the most effective evangelists in the Church of England.

Holy Trinity Brompton has a curious connection for me. Many years later our good friend Lynda Rogers introduced us to this Church during a weekend trip to London. Small world!

My last big memory of "Brums" Parish Church was the friendship between Canon Bryan and Billy Graham, the great evangelist.

It offered many stores for shopping. It was very diverse. They also had many different resturants to choose from. It was easy to please your taste buds! The local sights offered a special bonus to my experience. It was a great experience.

I came here from Dubai, I came to know that wishes come true here. I was mesmerized by the tranquillity and beauty of this church. May my wish comes true.

User

Has great potential for Gods Power and to be at the centre of all what God wants to do, as a centre for true worshippers and lovers of God!

User

Beautiful church that holds many lovely memories from being a little girl and my late mom always taking me in there after our shopping trips!

Attended my son's leavers assembly last month and was impressed by the stunning interior.

My son wanted to go back so we popped in. It was so peaceful and beautiful. We lit a candle and said prayers.

It really is a place to go for 5 minutes peace.

The church as a building is beautiful. It is built (well it happen to end up) in very strange neighbourhood of a modern shopping centre. Huge contrast. But the most shocking was finding up "Weigh and pay" second hand clothes sale market inside! Never seen something like that.

User

Beautiful old building. Well worth a visit and there is a magnificent shopping centre very close.
