Went yesterday with our little one who loved it! First, she went for a pony ride which was probably the best start to our trip. Then it was time for the rides and trampoline. Next, we went inside to soak up the Christmas atmosphere. Amazing! We all enjoyed it. Finally, we had lunch - the food was delicious! And our little one got lots of marshmallows with her warm milk which she was very happy about

User

Went for coffee around 10.20 disappointed that the scones were not ready as they had only just gone in the oven. However, good service and got what I needed in the store.

User

We took our little people along to the pancake workshop and they loved it. The staff were very friendly and accommodating with the kids.

We have been a few times for kids events and food and always had good experiences.

This time we even managed to catch one of the lovely ladies who helped look after me and my eldest daughter when I went into labour in the toilets after visiting santa 3 years ago so finally got to say thank you in person.

User

Thank you for such a wonderful time at your festive pie night! The staff were friendly and helpful, the range of products was fab and it felt very festive - best bit about it all was the gorgeous food! Both the pie main course and pudding was so tasty and hot - it was so busy but handled very well! We'll be back :) xx

User

THE best garden Center I have ever been too! Usually garden Center's don't care about the coffee they serve. But the Baristas @ St Peters really care about their coffee and food they serve. Best coffee I have had in the South West :-) The deli has a great selection of local and artisan products. Well done & thumbs up St Peters :-)

User

Possibly the best afternoon tea I've had..... plenty of sandwiches and cakes, with one of the largest scones I've ever seen. The service received was excellent and my father and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. There was even a takeaway box provided for us to take home the leftover cakes.

Would thoroughly recommend this afternoon tea to anyone who likes good food!

User

Lovely staff and friendly atmosphere. Definitely recommend, especially the cafe.

User

I thought it was a lovely place to visit. Met some friends for coffee with my two year old some and the bouncy castle was a welcomed site when we pulled into the car park! It was great to sit outside and still be able to watch my Son playing. The staff were polite, efficient and there was just a really happy atmosphere with the people who had chosen to meet up with friends too. Will definitely come back!

User

I love the cafe and the friendly staff. Plants are beautiful and well kept. Fantastic they allow my little dog Stan to come in. Full credit to every staff member.

User

I am a regular at St Peter's Garden Centre and was thrilled on Thursday that for the first time they provided a vegan chocolate coconut slice which was delicious. Thankyou and I hope that you will always have this as I've always been disappointed before

User

Great Sunday lunch! Good portions of meat and plenty of quality vegetables! Then tea and coffee sat in the sunshine outside. Lovely couple of hours spent with good friends. We will be back!

User

After a mix up with our booking, the staff did everything they could to accommodate us for Afternoon Tea last week. The sandwiches and cakes were absolutely beautiful, so plentiful too. A box is provided to allow you to take away what you don't eat. The presentation on the picnic bench is fab. Thank you for a lovely Afternoon Tea, it was wonderful. Wouldn't hesitate to book again, great value for money.

User

We had a lovely time with our three children this morning at the Breakfast with Santa. The food was good, Santa and his elves were great, the presents the children received were decent and the price for the package was fair. I'd recommend this holiday event to friends and family

User

The garden centre it's self is worth visiting !! We like to go there quite a bit and also eat there but we had a roast pork this time and I'm afraid we were all very disappointed !! Roast potatoes wer hard inside wer'nt cooked long enough, the carrots, beans and swede were frozen and gravy was as thin as water and tasteless, very disappointed as we always eat there, Have they changed the chef !!!!!

User

I bought my daughter over for a cream tea afternoon recently. The cream tea itself was fabulous with the fresh scone still warm and lovely and large. So much so that there was barely enough cream and jam for it. My only issue was that I cannot drink tea or coffee. Now I understand that, that's rare in this country but!! Initially I said to the girl I couldn't, she seemed perplexed and it was obvious she just didnt believe me and said I would have to purchase a drink with it, after requesting to speak to the manager we were offered apple or orange juice.

I was very grateful.

Could the cafe which is lovely and serves good food with good portions perhaps be more flexible in its approach to people who have things they can't eat or drink. A simple other option of drink with the afternoon tea isn't hard. A substitute cold drink or hot chocolate would be nice. Try to be a little more open minded on people's diets guys, otherwise a great afternoon tea thankyou. And pleasant walk around the center....spent to much but hey..!

User

The garden centre itself is very appealing to look at and there is a nice ambience at Christmas time.

Unfortunately the same can't be said about the grotto. Waited nearly an hour to see santa and then less than a minute with him.

The presents were a disgrace for the money and the only thing my son would pick was the juggler balls which probably cost a pound.

Sorry but we will stick to Webb's next year which is much Better in all aspects .

User

St peters garden centre overall is fantastic for the festive season, however the Santa's grotto was diabolical. £8 for a ticket to walk through a 10 second winter wonderland to enter a wooden play house where we stood for ten seconds before realising 'santa' was sat down. No HoHoHo or a merry introduction. He was very 'bored' to be there in my opinion. Not a festive persona at all. You could see his gold jewelry dripping off his wrists and the whole act was very unprofessional to the point my 3year old even said ' I can't wait til the real santa comes on xmas'. Then to choose a toy (which were all something you can choose from pound land. Overall will not be joining Santa's grotto again there. Very disappointed.

User

Rude security staff, making false accusation to me the customer, calling me a well know criminal in the area, then following me around the store making me uncomfortable to browse the shop, for mother day gift!

since I lived near the garden centre most my live and have shopped there many times as do the rest of my family, I fell very disgusted by the security staff member.

Festive Pie Night....left a bad taste in my mouth!!

Booking not required the website said....My family and I arrived for festive pie night to find scores of people in a queue going round and round the car park searching for a space!! Three trips round and we still couldn't find one!!

My father went inside and said it was heaving and we would be waiting a long time, so we gave up and ended up in the chip shop round the corner! While my parents brought a ready meal from Tesco!

It's fair to say we did not leave feeling "Festive" and to top it all off I couldn't even get in to spend my vouchers...extremely disappointed!!!
