Stanton Arms Description
The Stanton Arms is a welcoming, traditional, real ale country pub serving high quality food in North Shropshire. We have a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, enhanced in the winter months by the open fireplace.
During the summer months, families are welcome to enjoy our hospitality alfresco in our attractive beer garden and patio area.
Our aim is to provide a warm welcome to all of our visitors; children, dogs, cyclists and walkers are all well catered for, both inside and out.
The well stocked bar offers three well kept real ales from Shropshire. The wine list incorporates wines from around the world and are supplied by Majestic Wines.
Our menu offers homemade and freshly prepared dishes using locally sourced produce where possible.
Rural charm, real ale and hearty country food is served in the pub, the garden and our dining room. The dining room can be reserved for small parties or groups and can provide a convenient meeting point for many clubs and societies. We welcome groups to use the dining room free of charge if booked in advance.
We cater for a variety of events including weddings, christenings, birthday parties and dinner parties, either at the pub or at an outside venue. We can provide you with a selection of menu ideas or the menu can be specifically tailored to your event.
The pub is based right on the edge of the Shropshire Way and two minutes from Moreton Corbet Castle. We have a selection of circular walks from the pub and maps are available at the bar.

Thank you so much for my wonderful baby shower yesterday. The food was delicious, the staff and service extremely warm and welcoming and the atmosphere was vibrant and happy. We will certainly be thinking of holding more celebrations with you in the future.
Opened up for us two tired cyclists despite being closed - really friendly staff, great coffee and delicious scotch egg.

It is exceptional food in a friendly village pub which has life and atmosphere.
The menus are creative and whatever the cuisine the cooking is dead right. Add to that very well kept ales and prices that don't take the **** and you have arrived at the right place.
Had quite a few meals,:family celebrations, even sisters wedding reception. Food really good, sunday lunches are excellent, Colin very obliging and friendly. Love it there.
Had an amazing birthday celebration lunch yesterday, food was fantastic and a birthday cake as well. Thank you to Colin and Catherine you did us proud !!

Attended a celebration for an 80th birthday, we had a fabulous time, absolutely superb buffet, superb staff, k would highly recommend this wonderful place to everyone.
