Travelled from Kent and arrived in Somerset late evening. Was told Stapleton Arms would still be serving food. Unfortunately we were half an hour to late and they had stopped serving. However they told us they were more than happy to make us some sandwiches. When they arrived they were hot toasted sausage sandwiches served with crisps! It was gorgeous! They was a live band which were amazing. Great atmosphere. Very friendly, helpful and accommodating staff. A lovely experience. Thankyou to all at the Stapleton Arms �

Thank you so much to the lovely folk at the Stapleton for going out of their way to provide a delicious vegan dinner for my mum. The vegetable loaf was delicious and we had a fantastic evening.

Nice cosy traditional village pub, great atmosphere and the food was excellent. Just the place to sit in front of a proper log fire and just chill. Fabulous!

A massive thank you to the wonderful staff at The Stapleton Arms yesterday. We all made our annual pilgrimage to the pub as family from Devon & Epsom meet 'in the middle' for a catch up. The Sunday lunches were exemplary and as for the White chocolate Panna cotta, beautiful! The meal went without a hitch and while the adults chatted, the dogs and the children played happily in the garden and the park. Perfect 5* thank you from The Stapleton family (no connection other than by name).

Very nice snack lunch. Bar is on the small side, in what is a very large room, with designated restaurant area in an adjoining room. No J2O or equivalent. Get the impression that they are more set up for evening dining - menu looked very enticing. The village, as a whole has some lovely houses, but is a little 'tired'.
