Hi and welcome to my page. My name is Steph and I am a 48 year old mum of 3 with a love of all animals. I have been around dogs all my life, we currently have a lovely elderly Labrador Lucy, a very sweet girl who enjoys the company of other dogs and a young Border Collie, Ellie, is a bundle of fun who does all the dog walking with me. I have a wealth of experience with dogs and I am now very pleased to be able to offer dog minding in my own home. Your pet(s) will be treat...ed like one of the family with lots of love and cuddles and regular walks in lovely countryside and woodland. We can offer overnight boarding to suit your needs and occasional day boarding depending on available space.
My home is comfortable and clean and a non-smoking environment. I am fully insured and licensed by Durham County Council (Licence Numbe DCC/AHB/048196) to care for your pet and can cater to all your pets needs. I am also qualified in Canine First Aid including practical resuscitation and CRB checked.

We found Steph at the last minute to look after Ollie and I'm so glad we did. What a lovely lady with a lovely family. We couldn't have asked for more. Regular messages from Steph with photos. Steph minded our 2 dogs over night.....she and Alan are superb and the dogs really loved there stay ..... would definitely recommend and use again

Steph looks after our two lively young cockapoos regularly and they are very well cared for. She has an excellent understanding of dogs and is knowledgeable about about their health and well-being.Jasper and Poppy love her and the whole family - the other humans and Lucy who is the most chilled out dog in the world. Thank you for taking such good care of them and for all the cuddles they receive. We really appreciate it!

Steph and Alan looked after our shar pei Ozzy today, he's had a great time can't recommend them enough, I was so worried about leaving Ozzy for the first time but steph reassured me and kept me updated with text messages and photos. Ozzy can't wait to come back in July thank you �

Rocky is a rescue dog who stayed with Steph for 2 nights. I loved being able to see videos of him having fun on Steph's FB page and the texts from Steph to let me know he was settled and making himself at home. I think he really enjoyed his stay and I could see he had been treated like part of the family, which I especially liked. I would not hesitate leaving him with Steph again, and can't recommend Steph's Dog Minding highly enough.

Our border collie oscar stayed here over xmas and new year he loved it and is visiting again in march ...Thanks to all the family for looking after him x

My 2 labs have just had 2 weeks holiday with Stephanie, I loved all the updates and videos that were posted they loved every moment being there and were extremely well looked after , i now have 2 very tired happy dogs

My 16yr old retriever stayed for a weeks holiday. Steph was very sympathetic to her needs and gave her lots of affection. Caffrey had a great holiday, I would definitely recommend.

Lottie our Old English Sheepdog stayed with Stephanie and her family over Christmas and she has been spoilt rotten. Felt totally comfortable leaving her and we had regular messages to let us know how she was. Brilliant service and would definitely use her again and recommend. Thank you!!

I highly recommend Stephanie. She looked after my little Jack Russell for a day while we were away. She sent me a message during the day to reassure me that he was alright, it put my mind at rest. He was very happy at my return, seems that he had a good time. I won't hesitate to leave my little dog with Stephanie again.

I have been meaning to put a review on here for months. Steph is just so good at caring for Max who has stayed with her on several occasions already. He gets so excited when we pull up outside the house. It's his home away from home. He gets plenty of walks and cuddles. He is usually exhausted by the time we pick him up. Thanks you so much for the peace of mind when he is in your care.

Haven't tried due to not having one - at mo. But I think it's a great idea. I wish you well eith this x

Bella stayed for her first mini holiday with Steph and her lovely family. She is absolutely shattered after her many walks and has been spoilt rotten! She is already booked in for her next holiday and I will never let her go anywhere else again! Top service and amazing family thank you for all the love you gave her on her holiday x

Archie has just come back from 16 nights with Steph. The video / picture updates were very reassuring and he has obviously had a great time with Steph and her other dog guests. We can't recommend Steph highly enough and already have dates in mind for his next stay with her. �
