Wow I'm having a really hard time coming up with a mystical creature that begins with X. After doing a Google on a xenomorph and even though my 10 year old thinks that they are "AWESOME" I'm thinking that having evening bloody thirsty aliens won't sit well in a book for 5 year olds. Even if it's name is Xavier. Any thoughts guys?

I'm thinking of writing an ABC Jardinara book but I also want to add numbers. Do you think this is a good idea peeps or do you think that it would be best sticking to separates? Do you think 1-26 is too much or should I just do 1 2 3 1 apple 2 bananas 3 coats 1 dog 2 elephant like that... give me your opinions guys

Here's a question for you all. How many books have you read this year. I'm either on 10 or 11 so what about you

Just done the last line of the last mini story for my Creatures from Jardinara book. Tomorrow I am going to type them up and send them off to a wonderful young artist who is going to illustrate it for me. I'm very excited to be working along side him and can't wait to see the creatures he comes up with. Now we need a name for the book. Any ideas guys?

I draw my creatures very simply because I want young people to be able to copy them and draw them too. One thing I try my hardest to stay away from is stereotypes. My unicorn isn't white, my troll (normally Brown) is green. My goblin (normally green) is purple and my dragons are a wide variety of colours. One thing that children are is accepting of differences. If you are nice it doesn't matter the colour of your skin or what you look like. It's adults that make the differenc...es matter. So in the next few books that I'm doing I will have some characters who are more human looking but they won't be white or black or other human colour. People might think that it's because I'm bowing to political correctness but it's not. I want to show in a very simplistic way that colour should make no difference to anyone. You could be purple with orange spots but being a nice caring loving person / creature is much more important
