About Tarsus
Since 1982, our family-run restaurant has been serving Warwickshire with the best Mediterranean food the Midlands has to offer. We freshly prepare our food daily, using both the highest quality ingredients imported from our home country, Cyprus, while helping to sustain the local community by only purchasing our produce from local growers and suppliers.
Our food is typical of our island home and incorporates the best dishes from both Turkish and Greek cuisine. Our selection of traditional favourites are reminiscent of the very food we were raised on and have passed down to our children and their children too, who always look forward to visiting home for ‘Tarsus dinners’.
The name Tarsus is a city in Turkey. It’s famed for being the meeting point of Mark Antony and Cleopatra in 41 BC, where he summoned her to ask questions about her loyalty to him in the war against the Parthians.
We have become experts in events and parties and have an outstanding reputation among our neighbours and surrounding towns.
Once known as the living quarters of Southam’s Zoo, the ever changing face of Tarsus has undergone many improvements and modifications over the years. With guests from all over the county coming to visit, our restaurant has helped to put Southam on the map.
Our food and hospitality are yet to be beaten and we always strive to be the best. With the same owners for over 33 years, who better to trust?

We had a large family get together (20) all our needs were catered for even the children. The food was lovely and fresh and the hospitality and service was fab too, highly recommended 😊

Waitress staff & bar staff alike were superb.

One of my best experiences yet. Full on Greek splendor complete with dancing, plate smashing and excellent food! Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, hotel was great value for money comfortable with a well maintained garden

Amazing service and the food is out of this world.
All ten of us had a lovely night, meal was excellent, staff lovely, could not fault anything.
Fantastic value mothers day lunch menu, can't fault the price or food. However very quiet so not much atmosphere. Felt we were rushed through the meal despite only a few customers dining. Desserts all made with fresh cream out on a trolley in the main restaurant instead of in a fridge. Hope they don't do this all year round?!
